When Monica sang “the movie star” about Ginger, it’s because there was a show in the 60’s called Gilligan’s Island and one of the characters was named Ginger, and that’s how they sang it in the theme song.

Regardless if Mark wants something from Rachel or not, she didn't give Ross any reasons to be like that. and going out with a woman you saw getting naked and things she was willing to do for an extra 100 bucks is NOT the same type of jealosy. I love Ross very much, but I absolutely hate him these couple of episodes

2025-08-25 16:08:48 +0000 UTCI like the way Rachel explained to Ross her enjoyment and feelings of accomplishment in having something of her own and that it’s ok if he isn’t highly involved in it. She worded that to him really well, I thought. I also do understand where Ross’ insecurities are coming from and why he wouldn’t want Rachel to be spending a lot of alone time with Mark. I think most significant others would not be comfortable with that, especially if they had a vibe that the other person was interested. Ross was doing way too much though with all the stuff he’s sending to her office. His insecurities are causing him to be overbearing. I do wonder, if Mark wasn’t involved, if he would still feel threatened by her new job and how much she’s throwing herself into it or not. She’s growing a lot and gaining confidence, which is great for her and he needs to support her in that, but it is a little messy. Joey teaching that dance to the group and then bolting when he’s put on the spot is so hilarious to me. 🤣 🤣 You should definitely watch Little Women. Both the 1994 and 2019 versions are really good and done differently. I’m not sure which I’d want to recommend, I love them both. I wouldn’t worry about being spoiled. I don’t think what you heard here would ruin the experience of the story for you.

But I understand Rachel so much, I don't think your boyfriend or husband needs to be envolved in all parts of your life. Especially a woman's job. But to be fair with Ross, a relationship needs work, will and time to be together. Again, I'm glad that Rachel is prioriting her job and that she's finally having what she was fighting for since Season 1, but she needs to balance her job and time for her relationship other wise they won't be able to sustain it.

2025-08-25 12:32:48 +0000 UTCI just don't like how Rachel doesn't see what Mark is doing. I get her being so focused on work but after dating so many guys you'd think she'd see the signs. She thinks Ross is crazy to think that Mark is into her and we as the viewer know better.
