I didn't realize Kevin directed this episode. What a great job he did!

Amye Sabin

This episode was a sort of mid-season finale, as S5 was split into two parts, which is why it's so epic and wraps up the whisper killer plot. We had to wait for almost a year between both parts, so the God reveal was a massive cliff-hanger! I'm happy for you that you won't have to wait as long lol.. S5 is my favorite, and while the first half is great, I personally love the second one even more. That being said, this episode was a really great one - the Pete reveal was indeed shocking at first watch, and the fight sequence between the brothers and Maze at the end is amazingly shot and edited imo. The frozen glass effect in particular stands out as one of my fav SFX throughout the entire show, so I'm glad you noticed and enjoyed it :)

Mic Ron

This episode was directed by Kevin Alejandro (the actor who plays Dan, another reason he was absent for much of it) - he did a stellar job. Once again, Tom's variation in his performance as Michael brings such a different and unlikeable vibe to the character, really highlighting the night/day aspect of the twins. I was also shocked and saddened by the Pete twist when I first watched, especially the scene when Ella's fighting for her life. Poor Ella deserves a real good guy. Though, props to the actor who switched effortlessly between sweet, nerdy boyfriend to sicko serial killer. Can't wait for the next episode and the ensuing celestial family drama.
