Emma and Regina work together and form a plan to trap the Evil Queen, while Snow White and David get used to life without each other. Henry anxiously prepares to take Violet to the school dance, but the Evil Queen has other plans. Meanwhile Zelena and Belle form an alliance and recruit Aladdin to steal a magical object from Mr. Gold that could protect Belle and her unborn child from him forever.

Rumple is just a text book abuser at this point. Belle has been seeking protection from him all season, and he responds with threats and tightening his control over her. When she's finally driven to run because she fears what he'll do to their child he literally chains her so she has no hope of escape, and threatens to take the baby from her if she keeps trying. I think his determination to kill someone she sought for help is partly meant to discourage her from doing that again. At this point in their relationship I was just rooting for her to escape him.

There is only so much the darkness can twist up in the morality and personality department. By now, he should know that this'll get him nowhere. That information has been beat into him time and time again. But, desperation inspires regression into more comfortable and familiar thought patterns... so lets see how this goes!
