Friends S2 Ep: 22& 24- FULL REACTION

Comments

I'm late but I was always curious about the backstage things. Who directed this episode was Michael Lembeck. He is in his seventies now. He acted and directed a bunch of things and has a lot of experience directing sitcoms. He directed 24 episodes of Friends. On 2nd season he directed all from Ross and Rachel's first time through the season finale.

Larissa Macedo

And the Scene in which Ross picks Rachel up in uniform is a reference to the movie "An officer and a Gentleman".

Fra Neu

Thanks, now I get it.

19:26 “Shirts and skins” is when you’re playing a team sport, and one team plays with shirts on (“shirts”) and the other plays shirtless (“skins”). It was common among kids playing casual games without uniforms or jerseys. Chandler was trying to get that girl to play “skins” so he could see her with her shirt off

Noah Goldman

“How do you not fall down more?” That is one of my favorite Chandler lines 😂 Can’t wait for the next season!

As far as how nice the six of them were all dressed, did you notice they were all wearing shades of green? For Rachel Green. I had never noticed that before until I saw somebody else point it out.

Kelsey

Great reaction to these last 3 episodes. It’s always fun to watch these with you! The one with two parties is a top tier episode. The whole set up and choreography of being back and forth between apartments, doors opening and closing, the comedy, the showcasing of friendship… it all works so well. And Janice coming in at the end 👏 So glad you enjoyed this season. Looking forward to starting season 3!

Kelsey

That was Charlie Sheen Two and a half man?

Karlo

Not a dull moment, I'm glad to be here and so glad you're enjoying the show! also, I think the "sorry, we don't have your sheep" is a nod to the nursery rhyme "Little Bo Peep", a girl with a bubbleyum dress aswell

Spottrigger

So, best reactor. A little bit unpredictable when the uploads happen but close enough. loves...

The Monica and Richard scenes make me incredibly sad. They were so good together, it's just the age difference and how that makes you want different things for the future. Besides that..they just worked so well on every level. Great chemistry between both actors. Man that sucks so bad. 😟

Ninaofthe90s

You don't know Charlie Sheen? He played the submarine officer 🙂

Ninaofthe90s

Great to see how much you like the series👍. The birthday episode is on of my favorites too 😀.

Fra Neu

The episode with the two birthday parties is one of the best not only in season 2, but in the entire series in my opinion 💚 I'm looking forward for your reaction to season 3! It's my least favorite season (it's still great though, 'cause it's Friends after all!), but it has some absolutely amazing standout episodes. One of the episodes in season 3 is in my top 5 of the entire show. Season 4 and beyond are what I'm really, REALLY looking forward to! 😍

Chandler and Rachel are such an underrated duo! I love their friendship so much. I was re-watching the show last night and I there's so many small moments when Rachel and Chandler are always taking care and listening each other. Sometimes, they share the same neuron. 🥹💖

Rachel's birthday party is so funny! I absolutely love how all of the friends did their utter best to keep it as good as they could. I mean Joey even went ahead to kiss Rachel's mother😂 Also, I loved how everyone in the friends group were dressed so beautifully 😍Poor Rachel, on her birthday she got the glimpse of what her parents divorce would entail but then it was really good writing to bring Chandler into the frame and relate to her because of his childhood and parents separation. The one thing about Chandler is that he is a listener and also someone who will make you laugh when you're crying❤️ Monica-Richard were a really good couple but we knew that in the long term they wouldn't last simply because they want different things from life and are in at different stages of life. I really do admire that Richard was ready to do all over again if he had, but at the same time Monica really earned my respect by refusing to settle. She understood that while they love each other, it wasn't going to be fair to either one of them.

“sorry we don’t have your sheep” is a reference to little bo peep haha. also what made me upset about that episode is that mindy did not once stand up for rachel at all. i swear she was never a real friend to her like having an affair behind her back with her ex fiancé, that’s not a true friend!

Jocelyn

The one reference about sheep.. it’s a nursery rhyme that starts, “Little Bo-Peep has lost her sheep and can’t tell where to find them.” Rachel looked how Little Bo-Peep, the shepherdess, would present as in the children’s books. 🐑🎀☺️

Can’t wait to watch this, but I’m making myself wait anyway. 😂 If I’m not careful, I’ll run out of your reaction vids, so I’m trying to pace myself. I listen to/watch them like podcasts while I got for long walks. 💜

Alile

I’ve recently come across another reactor who just started watching the show, and I forgot how much I love the first season. 😍 I’d love to see Sophie react to it. Or Orphan Black, which is totally not a sitcom, but still a favorite. 😂

Alile

Sofie, you must consider watching New Girl one day. Based on how much you love Chandler & Joeys friendship, I can see you just loving it. 🫶
