The game's lore doesn't really work for Arcane anymore. hence Viktor. And we all know the changes that happened and how the community felt after the fact. So ya, League players are not surprised by Vi being enforcer but I get why everyone else is so shocked by it if they've never played League.

There is so MUCH going on in the visualisation of the scene with Cassandra’s funeral... apart from the amazing song from Freya Ridings, which on its own is SO emotional! Btw, everything that is B&W is drawn by hand, Cait’s father is absolutely distort, whilst Cait is keeping a “stiff upper lip” as a high class Kiramman, now the heiress of the Kiramman matriarch line! The only colour in the “darkness” is Vi … the flower pedals are actually from violet flowers. The same pedals were shown in Cait’s “dark thoughts” where she envisioned aiming at Jinx with her riffle. In general, in Season 2, there is TONS of symbolism and foreshadowing, it is easy to miss it the first time… maybe the 2nd time too. No I haven’t watched Arcane over 3 times…. :) Her saying to her father “ I had the shot… “ broke my heart… if you remember, she said in season 1 “ I am an excellent shot”… it wasn’t by accident that both her and Jinx didn’t kill each other in 1x09. They missed on purpose to avoid breaking Vi’s heart! And yes she did get vulnerable only once she was alone with Vi. Then offered her to become an enforcer….ugh…. Regarding Mel... you said … “Her mother must be loving this though!” …. Well ….. :D .. we’ll just have to see what happens! Viktor was saved by Jayce for sure, keeping him alive my having him merged with Hextech, so it will be interesting to see how this evolves too. Jayce feels guilty, he promised to destroy it, but used Hextech instead to save him instead. The animation in season 2 is impeccable! Fortiche just decided to outdo themselves! And they have won multiple awards. Don’t look it up (yet), but something for awareness and awe … Season 2 Arcane, has a scene that was recently voted the most captured moment in Netflix history! You can look that up after you finish the series 😊 I am not a big fan of animated series, but Arcane was SO impeccably well done, everything about it is incredible, artistic, great arcs, great writing, great animation, just fucking fantastic!
