2025-03-02 05:21:57 +0000 UTCAmazing episode, amazing reaction! 😊 Banshees are actually pretty common in fantasy movies, shows, books, and games. They appear in Supernatural, Teen Wolf, World of Warcraft or Dungeons & Dragons, for example. Banshees are originally from Irish folklore and are supposed to be omens of death, but they're not evil. However, in most Hollywood depictions they are evil, I guess Hollywood finds peaceful death omens too boring. 😅 This episode also features one of the show's most famous guest stars, Matt Battaglia. (Though I've just realized that apparently Ashley Tisdale is pretty famous too. I guess guys usually recognize Battaglia from sports and girls recognize Tisdale from Disney Channel stuff. 😂) Battaglia was an NFL American football player and then turned to acting and also became CEO of a movie production company. He appears in a lot of TV shows, though usually only as a guest star. One of the few people who have been successful in both sports and the entertainment industry. I love how they chose a song by The Corrs for this episode, firstly because they're Irish which is a nice thematic overlay to the Irish banshee legends, and secondly of course because it's a band of three sisters. 😊
