2025-02-11 00:08:43 +0000 UTCPoor Jesse got invited to the most awkward dinner ever. For Jesse, I think his reasons for staying in meth-making were psychological rather than monetary. I think he's insecure about himself and feels like this is the only thing he's good at; the only value he adds to this world. He's been seeking validation his entire life, but the only time he's ever gotten approval is by making drugs. In this episode, Jesse selflessly gives up his purpose and calling in life so that others don't get hurt. Jesse realizes his sense of self-satisfaction isn't worth it if it means innocent people are going to die.

2025-02-09 00:02:52 +0000 UTCWhether or not Mike hired him, I'm not sure anyone could have predicted Todd would do something like that. Todd seemed like a such a nice, polite young man at first, which is why it's so shocking when he turns out to be a psychopath.
