We don't know exactly how Walt poisoned Brock as that part was never shown, but creator Vince Gilligan was asked about it once and said Walter probably crushed it up in a juice box and secretly planted it in Brock's lunch box at school. Since Walt is a teacher, no one would have found it suspicious for him to be hanging around a school.

People at end of S4: Wow Gus is dead? So who's season 5's antagonist going to be? People starting S5: Oh. Of course!
