2024-11-23 13:40:54 +0000 UTCYes, well things are going to heat up towards the finale. And note, episode 24 is the finale. Then there are two bonus episodes that do not follow the story's timeline. The reason is Fox canceled the show a week before the finale aired and you like all Lucifer fans will be furious at this move. The showrunners had already filmed some scenes for what they thought was going to be season 4, and once it was canceled, they stitched together two bonus episodes for the fans. While they are not in the timeline, both bonus episodes are important in the long term story arc, so watch them in numerical order. Fortunately, fan outrage made so much noise that Netflix picked up the show and continued it with better budgets and production values for 3 more seasons. Oh and they even wrote in a sarcastic dig at Fox programming executives that Lucifer delivers somewhere in season 5.
