Hey Sofie. Please watch The maze runner trilogy if you get a chance. The movies will have you at the edge of your seat. They are so good but sadly underrated.

2024-11-01 19:13:18 +0000 UTCI can't imagine being so preoccupied with how you appear to others that you can't even see a movie mentioned without commenting on your opinion of some viral internet controversy that hasn't been viral in years. It reveals that you spend too much time on the internet because in reality barely anybody cares about things like that outside of twitter and other spaces. I think it requires having a very insecure mental complex to do what you do, misery loves company, you are channeling your own insecurity into hate toward someone who won't even see it and aren't making a difference to anything meaningful (e.g. watching a harry potter movie reaction on patreon wouldn't even be supporting j k rowling in any meaningful way), you just can't resist catastrophizing and prolonging the internet tantrum for as long as possible, and bringing down others with you because it's an excuse to let off steam and spread your misery. It's sort of like very loud vegans. Seeing how much it bothers you and how desperate you are to tell others about your opinion is sad in the same way it's sad to listen to an old person with dementia ranting about something that no one else cares about.

But I know how much it means to some people, which makes me really sad because JK went and ruined that for a lot of people. I just never really cared for it and with everything with JK I now hate it.

These movies and these books were extremely popular and I don't think it was because people are dumb and didn't realize it was bad. Two things can be true, these were good movies and books and also I won't be mad if Sofie doesn't support them because JK still profits from the IP and I don't want to support her. It's similar to how I feel about HP Lovecraft except he is long dead and supporting his work doesn't actively harm anyone.

Besides, I honestly don’t think Harry Potter is as good as people make it out to be. So it’s not like I’m missing out on anything. 🤷♀️
