2024-10-28 18:08:53 +0000 UTCThis might not have been my favourite season overall but the finale was great, especially the twist at the end with Emma sacrificing herself to save Regina and Regina not wanting her to shows just how far the characters have come from season one.

2024-10-28 16:04:56 +0000 UTCThankfully back then we only had to wait 3 or 4 months between seasons, but it still felt like forever haha. In these episodes I really enjoyed the concept of their true characters coming through despite the fiction that was written for them. Christina Perri actually wrote a song about Emma's struggle to tell Hook she loved him and how much he wanted to hear it. The song is called "The Words" and the actor who plays Hook starred in the music video. I think waiting for Emma to be brave enough to say it was a big part of the watching experience while the show was airing.
