NAMJOON WEVERSE LIVE 8302023 REACTION

Comments

Like i had something to say, but i got distracted by a friend so I forgot. I'll say this, this song wasn't and will never be about a certain religion. People love jumping on the hate train when it comes to RM or BTS. It's getting ridiculous now, the force hate is so not doing anything good for them. It's not gonna help there faves to higher than they are. And it's always a certain fandom that is doing it. I love BTS, and I will listen somewhat to some kpop but I am not a kpop stan cause it honestly bores me, but I don't hate on them, I don't even hate on that certain group I just ignore and go throughout my day. The way these people want clout or whatever is astounding cause I know for sure if they didn't want attention they would probably be talking about there favorite groups or whatnot.

I believe in Namjoon. And all the other members of BTS. They are all genuine people that love and care about Army! BTS Forever~~ Haters gonna hate.

Super massive comment incoming… I think the fundamental thing that many many people need to remember at all times is that firstly, every single one of the 7 boys are good, decent, kind, human beings, with their heart in the right place. If an issue ever arises and is being talked about in the media about the boys themselves… it is almost 99.9% of the time a complete misunderstanding or people with nefarious intentions taking a situation and twisting it and spreading something that wasn’t there for their own gain and purposes. This is what happened with Namjoon’s situation. People outside of the fandom who saw an opportunity took it, twisted and created a a controversy and spread it within our fandom and then by the fandom itself (the song does not mean what people think it does etc but people didn’t bother to research it beyond looking at things at surface level) Unfortunately in this day and age… people don’t pause to fact check or check things independently for themselves, or ask themselves where is this information coming from? They hear so and so did this and they take it for fact. Then it’s passed and spread around. Where it suddenly becomes fact to the wider public who don’t know any better. Who then tell their army friend did you hear this? With then everyone and their mother then feeling entitled to comment on it without actually knowing anything. This has happened too often this past year with the boys. There are many many people who do not have all the boys best interests at heart it’s more hurtful when that includes those within the fandom. (tangent alert - The serious criminal k-side problem which was completely not understood or taken seriously by international ARMY (because people didn’t understand that it wasn’t about targeting an individual or wait for the in-depth translations with all the receipts but instead poor auto translated transcripts that sounded like gibberish because the slang was not translated- so the situation got swept under the rug because people dismissed it wrongly) with a small exclusive group of k ultra pj-akagaes (with no fault whatsoever of the sweet kind member, it’s as if blaming the victim of an abusive partner for their actions) who over the years from 2017 created chat rooms and accounts where rumours and fake gossip about all other 6 members (with a particular focus on JK, Yoongi and Tae) would be started under fake accounts and then posted at set coordinated times by 70 of them with multiple accounts to go to the top of trends and spread further, not only that but they hired journalists and k-YouTubers to write articles on the fake blog posts and trending message board messages… also creating accounts and posing as fans of the other 6 members to mock them and belittle them, if a member had an interaction with their bias for 24 hours they would desist or for the duration of that promotion to then start again after it… why do we know it’s them… because each had to prove their loyalty by providing months and years worth of buying and voting records to be permitted into the group. All the the details were given by the whistleblower who realised how far it had gone) with full picture proofs… this specific group was far beyond the normal vile name calling by the small group of other members akagaes on the internet… (but again instead of seeing it as damaging all 7 people, needing to be stopped with no blame to any guiltless member people misunderstood it and preferred to keep it hidden) - why do I mention this because even now often you will see negative comments from people pretending to be ARMY towards the boys - their only intention to make things worse… who only wants negative outcome for another member) Coming back to this specific matter, What I really appreciate about you guys is that you don’t unnecessarily weigh in on things just because it’s clickbait etc. just recently with Namjoon’s situation… after this live we have had reactors going out of their way and fanning the flames by posting videos titled Namjoon controversy etc. instead of just Namjoon live etc… whatever their intentions… that’s so wrong. Because it allows a narrative to build that is completely false and to be spread just for the sake of it. Instead of just reacting to it like you did naturally as part of the wider conversation of the live. To me these provocative titles are the same as the 1000’s of clickbait vids on YouTube esp about certain members that get targeted only because they are popular and will bring views so every nasty thing is said about them in the title intentionally. The general public who is browsing and reads these titles in passing doesn’t know that they are fake titles and completely made up… and a false narrative begins to build in their minds. I can’t imagine how hurt the boys must feel. The second serious issue which unfortunately the people who actually need to see this won’t… is that way too many people are overstepping their boundaries and acting super entitled on weverse. Weverse is not there for people to vent and to gossip etc. it’s there as a safe place for Army to communicate with the boys and the boys to communicate with ARMY. Esp during their lives. The boys take energy from weverse. E.g you only have to read Tae’s interviews for example to know that. (Again unfortunately so few people seem too). It doesn’t help that weverse is open to anyone (despite having to register with your actual details) with many being super young and some not even BTS fans who join out of boredom or drop in the lives out of curiosity. (The fact that people join their lives to leave hateful messages always boggles my mind… esp Instead of focusing on their favourite groups etc and spreading positivity.) For Namjoon it must have been really unbearable because it was on every single insta post of promotion for the other members too like Hobi’s Jack in the box posts and Tae’s layover posts and Namjoon was being tagged etc and it was trending on twitter. I go back to my point one… that the 7 boys are such kind genuine human beings and before people presume like they did here they should always give the benefit of the doubt and wait for the boys to say something and only believe their words about their intentions etc like Namjoon was saying to believe him. Every day I’m in awe of the strength of our 7. Namjoon really deserves to be our leader. 💜p.s sorry for my ted talk… I just felt so frustrated. I just want our boys to come on live without constantly getting hurt.

Namjoon is absolutely right. There is no need for him to apologize. This man did nothing wrong. People misunderstood the entire song and didn't even properly analyze the lyrics to understand that the song is NOT hating on religion in any sense of the word. It's been twisted around and made out to be something it's not. Music is art, art can be interpreted in many different ways, it's poetry. Regardless he didn't even write the song or have anything to do with it ffs. The media ran with it and even some entitled "army" turned against him. It frustrated me to my core that namjoon had to deal with so much nonsensical negativity. I don't understand how you can call yourself an army and then attack any of the members, jumping to conclusions and assuming things based on zero facts while demanding an apology, get off your high horse. We know who namjoon is and his values as a person so how dare you even point your finger at him like that. It's unbelievable. If the song made you feel a certain way for whatever reason, that's okay. That's fine. Move on. You're allowed to feel that way but don't be dragging other people's names around and degrade their humanity. I'm glad he's able to move past moments like these and i hope he continues to be strong and know that army have his back through thick and thin. 💜 This man has nothing but good intentions and wants to spread positivity into the world.
