2023-08-26 22:14:24 +0000 UTCLong comment incoming: Rewatching this live was adorable… it actually really reminded me of Tae’s last live… you’ll see what I mean when you watch it… same adorable energy… The fan cafe was separate from their blog… what I love is that Tae has always been really active on all ARMY communities and communication channels from the beginning all the way till now. He used to go into ARMY kakao group chats… he still does it….did it recently where he did it incognito. He posted fan edit pics from twitter just a couple of weeks ago on his Insta too… Also as he mentioned comments moved fast for all Tae’s lives… always faster than the other members so he would have trouble keeping up with them… and would go to the fan cafe to read posts to communicate with ARMY… then weverse when that opened at the same time as being on the vlive. Also some very very important things to note for those who were not ARMY then about this live in particular… (TRIGGER WARNING for some of what’s ahead❗️) this live was around 2 weeks after Tae revealed his Grandma died (sept 2016) at the muster and also 2 weeks from when he gave meaning to the purple cloth that Army used (fans at that time decided to put cloth over the army bombs for an event… other fandoms had done similar things too… this time it happened to be purple cloth used - it easily could have been other colours as it changed event to event) and on the spot Tae gave it meaning) and he said his famous ‘do you know what purple means… it’s the last colour of the rainbow it means I will believe you, trust you and love you until the end….’ before this purple wasn’t part of the fandom at all… after that and during this time people started to use purple emoji’s - mostly towards Tae… hence why he mentioned the purple he saw on the chat and explained how purple was his fav colour (fans were sending the emoji as a show of support for some of the things I’m about to mention ahead… ) and when purple emoji’s started to take off. This was also the start of the era where Tae started to get seriously cyber bullied. It was so bad that even the BTS book specifically mentions cyber bullying in passing in the section it talks of this time period and Tae. Fans of other groups and even akagaes of the other members started using Tae’s grandma’s death and Hwarang (he had become really popular in mainstream because of it) to attack him out of jealousy. They would send him pics of skeletons and coffins and say you should join your grandma etc… they would write really mean things to him etc… Also late 2016 early 2017 was the start of the BTS mainstream popularity… back then they weren’t as popular… so the numbers of viewers was far more manageable… there also wasn’t the amount of different nationalities etc… another key factor was that because they weren’t as popular things they said and did didn’t have the same impact so they were freer from outside pressure in their lives... (E.g. Tae’s last live where he said he was 62kg… after that live there were immediately around 30 Naver articles written about by k-media, there is so much pressure on them in regards to what they say. ) This period in time was also the start of his recurring burn-out and depression too… All this means that Tae became more cautious and guarded as the years went on and he became more introverted. (Not to mention the other bereavements that were yet to come) But coming back to now… people don’t realise how uncomfortable some of the lives are for Tae now… not only does he get nervous but the lives this past year esp have been wild and uncomfortable in the comments for all the members but esp Tae… even the last couple of lives… including even the one where he watched Rainy days etc and his last live… Tae has been getting horrible emoji’s posted and lots of non- sense comments. He has also seen the messages before they were deleted. You see the sadness on his face each time, he also ends his lives not too long after… I wish people would remember all this. Tae has been pointed out as the most sentimental and sensitive member numerous times over the years by the other members, so you know he has felt it. But if you add how often Tae has been live… all his short lives add up to more than the others occasional long one (he’s the member who is the 2nd most live recently time wise (although he is still the member who spends the most on weverse over the years (people did graphs) this is not to compare but to dispel the weird narratives that have been starting to mount surrounding Tae not being live long etc.💜

There are many myths and meanings to birthmarks and the one that i remember being told is how it connects to your past life. It symbolizes an injury or wound from your previous life and might even indicate how you died. I love that tae showed us all of his moles on his face, he did the exact same thing years later. :') His moles are very unique and charming! ❤️ You're right, tae was more silly and did longer vlives back in the day and it's clear that he slowly started maturing. He's the most mysterious member in my opinion. It's hard to tell what goes on in his head and how he feels. Japan has four seasons. Depending on where you go i hear their winters can be quite cold but generally it's pretty moderate. I've always wanted to travel to Tokyo.
