2023-08-31 06:28:29 +0000 UTCwanna one (at one point, one of the biggest boy groups) was created from a survival show, which nu'est members all took part of, but at the end only minhyun made the final cut for that group (temporary group). the reason nu'est members joined at the time was because nu'est wasn't doing so well at the time so they went on that show to promote themselves, and it ended up working! while minhyun promoted with wanna one, nu'est promoted as nu'est w (waiting for minhyun). after minhyun returned to nu'est, they gained more attention. nu'est never ended up as the biggest group, but they definitely were loved by lots of people. unfortunately they disbanded in 2021, and only baekho and minhyun stayed with hybe out of nu'est members. minhyun (and nu'est) have been through it fr, I'm so glad he's doing so well these days. and i always felt that minhyun and jin are similar (vibes, personality and looks like they could maybe be cousins??) so i felt so validated when they made the comparison hahah. and it's an interesting dynamic because minhyun has been in the industry longer, but yoongi is older in terms of age, so they had lots of interesting conversations

2023-08-08 16:11:17 +0000 UTCMinhyun debuted with Nu'est in 2012, then joined Produce 101 S2 in 2017 and debuted as Wanna One, while Nu'est became a unit called Nu'est W, then he went back to Nu'est when Wanna One contract ended in 2019, then Nu'est disbanded in end of 2021 or early 2022, now he's a soloist/actor. I got to know him through Wanna One and I believe he's good friends with Jimin and is also a 95 liner.

2023-08-08 08:57:45 +0000 UTCI feel like even tho I liked nu'est I became a fan of minhyun ...and Baekho after they disbanded I watch minhyuns YouTube videos alot his voice is really calming and nice and he posts alot of travel vlogs and behind the scenes for his dramas and stuff idk but the last two years I've fallen deep 😆 I even bought his lightstick 😙🤭I Yes minhyun was in nu'est and wannaone some of the contestants of produce 101 were members from less successful groups because it brought attention to your group and made people noticed them so he went on to help Nu'est and it did work they gained alot of fans after that 😄 I watched produce 101 for him🤭 As much as I enjoyed nu'est music (bet bet still slaps) I do like the members as solo artists Baekho's album was nice Minhyun's I probably enjoyed the most but also Ren's was amazing too but it's really cool to see them all move on to this new chapter and enjoy life more Also ha sungwoon who is jimins friend that has the song with him was also in wannaone too he's a solo artist but he's in the military right now
