The Wife Trader 2 Audio - First Chapter

Ok I have now listened to both the narrators. For me, it's just like how so many people say the book is better than the movie. The writing does such a great job of guiding my mind to visualize the characters in the Tinto universe that the audio conflicts with my pre established character identification. I've mentioned the voicing of the women does not resonate with me....but the voices of the Bulls is a huge contrast to what I mentally think they should sound like. Richmond in particular.....the voice over paints a picture of a much more ordinary, less special type of person. I do get why some people may enjoy this more than the writings....just like some really do "like the movie better than the book". But for me the writing connects so well with my imagination that I have the entire universe of characters firmly implanted in my head, and someone else's narration tends to make me spend more time reconciling the characters to the mental picture of them I already have. Thanks again for sharing the samples. It was fascinating to go down that road.

At first I felt like he sounded like a children's book author, made me think of the book Pinocchio. But then I got into the story and he didn't bother me at all, speaks clear and is easy to understand. Doesn't sound like a cuckold, but really what does a cuckold sound like? lol.
