September Q&A - Black Marks

As suggested, the Q&A on Kev and Evie has been postponed to next month (October) so that we can concentrate until then on the current story - 'Black Marks'.

You can ask me anything you like about this until the end of the month. Character or story questions etc.

One that I've been asked more than once via email and now via a DM here is Why have I now decided to write an interracial story?

I've touched on IR in a few of my stories in the past, but only single books like 'She Rules Me' and 'Cuckolded By My Landlord 3' had those relationships front and center.

What's always appealed to me about it is - like it or not - the 'taboo' aspect. A bit like the hotwife with a much older man. Or her boss. Or your boss, a neighbor, or stepfather, another woman, a thug etc. I don't derive much satisfaction from stories where the bull is simply a.n. other man of say, the same age or social staus or whatever, and the relationship 'straightforward'. So I've been keen for a while to explore this kind of relationship in a series. I guess in this day and age such relationships can be a difficult balance to get right without offense too, so it's a challenge which I hope can get right.

Feel free to ask away below on any aspects of this story or DM me if you prefer. I'll share the answers here.

Hi Chris, I'm glad you like the idea of Amelia and Wes potentially getting involved with a couple, rather than just a single bull. In some ways that's similar to 'The Coupled Hotwife', but as you'll find out soon, Sterling and Vanessa are very different from Calysta and Torbyn from that other story. You asked to what extent are my stories planned out as I'm stil not certain how many books will be in this series. I usually start with a general idea for where I want a couple to finish up at the end of their story. What will their realtionship be like, and how will they feel about it? I don't know all that happens in between the start and finish. That evolves as I write and each book progresses. But also as you guys feed your thoughts and opinions back. I never know for certain how many books will be in a series. I've written a lot of 6-book series but also 5's and a couple of 3's. Standalones too. I get a feeling 'Black Marks' could be 4, but I'm not yet certain. I'll know once the first one is published. Re the other couple from the market in Chapter 1 of 'Black Marks'; I created them initially just to try and illustrate Wes's frustration a little more. They appear later in the first book too, but yes, the questions and comments I've had about them have made me consider them a little more now. And whether they might have a bigger role to play at some point. I'm not sure yet. This kind of thing happens. Dennis Talbot was originally only scheduled for a brief appearance or two as Rachel's pervy neighbor. But as some writers say, certain characters once drawn, have their own ideas about what roles they should play.🙄

I am looking forward to seeing the neighbours arriving in the story. Me personally like the interracial side as “Joe put it in his comment about the visual contrast between skins” I am the same always find it hot. But I do also think even more because of the idea it is a couple. Looking at your images they look a powerful couple who will really want to dominate the innocent couple. Also, the idea of a couple being involved rather than just the bull like Phil/Richmond for a change. You mentioned you weren’t sure how many books may come from this story. So after all that my question is do you have most of the story planned out now or just a general idea? When you start writing do you just see where it takes you? Do you see what feedback you get for each book and that steers you in different way? Like I mentioned about the couple at the market, you said you hadn’t thought much about them. So, does that get you thinking of them?

To be honest Joe, I wouldn't want to write anything where the bull was 'just another man.' I mean, it's still cuckolding so therefore potentially exciting, but personally, I need that extra level too. I agree with your comment the potential visual aspects of relationships like these but also that these kind of themes in porn can be awkard. RE your question about whether this series eventually integrates with a wider previous storyworld, in this first book there are 2 chapters from the POV of Ashley from 'Hotwife Switch' (as well as one from the 'Black Marks'bull). There will eventually be a tie in with Richmond's world, although the more established characters from there will be mainly in the current 'Lanie' story. As far as Evie and her stepdad are concerned, I very much doubt that Mel has had his fill of Kevin's wife.

Guess I will lead with more of a discussion than a question. Thank you for not making the bulls just another man, the taboo aspect is hot. I love interracial relationships but not how they are portrayed in porn which can be cringy and insulting. I love the blending of cultures, what that looks like sexually, emotionally as well as the overall experience. The visual contrast between skins I find super hot, maybe because I'm visual and artistic. Then yes of course even some of the taboo that still exist, breaking those barriers. We are early in the book and the development of the characters. I personally think you do a great job. Guess my only question on this on is it a stand a lone story? Or does it some how eventually integrate with Richmond and the rest of the hotwifes? On that note when will Evie have more opportunity with her step dad and brother an law? Maybe she will start seeking it out more. Love that shit! LOL I know next month.

Joe
