I could not at all hear any of the words, and was honestly just impressed you managed to find words in it. I am so bad at stuff like that. Picking out words from songs and stuff. I didn't even know it was a big deal until you started talking about all the hate you got for it. Which is honestly so sad. Even if you were wrong, waths the big deal? I remember so many thinking Seven was about the members, and I thought that was kind of stupid. But I didn't belittle them for it and thought they might be right even if I found it unlikely. It's just so sad that you guys had to second guess yourself and your minds just because people can't imagine a 20-something man not being innocent like a 5-year-old. You guys were right of course, so suck it lol

The schedules are super tight cause all members will be in the army by the end of this year. So they have to crunch in all these contents just for armys while we wait for their return 🥹😭💜

2023-07-25 20:04:48 +0000 UTCI've just started watching, but I'm currently at the point where you're talking about promotions being kind of short and at the same time. We can't forget that they have 7 artist (5 who are still doing stuff now) who want to get music out before enlisting, but they also have to enlist pretty soon to be back by 2025, which seems to roughly be the target year - meaning there is simply no time for them to do lengthy promotions and let something sink in. So while I fully agree, that it feels a little short and rushed sometimes and things overlap and get a little overlooked by that (in this case, J-Hope's physical album release), I think they are truly trying to do right by us, by giving us the content we want in the very very limited time they have. Let's think about it, if they truly want to come back by 2025 they need to enlist by June 2024 the latest (and even then they would only come back out by the very end of 2025) - that leaves one year left. We know that Yoongi still has 3 tour dates left, Namjoon is working on something, JK has kind of said he's working on an album, Tae is potentially working on an album as well and who knows if Jimin's gonna do something more as well. Thats a huge amount of stuff for one year (or potentially even less)!! Of course it's gonna feel like a lot and a bit rushed, but I mean it's super sweet of them, for trying to provide us with as much as they can before they enlist (not that I think you don't appreciate it, I know you do, you can see how much you love and appreciate BTS. This was just kinda meant to put into words why everything feels so short and hurried. I mean, we all know about all the stuff that is potentially coming, but honestly it wasn't until I heard you talk about this right now that I actually thought about the huge amount of stuff they are trying to fit into such a short period of time!)

I live in a conservative Asian family so cursing is never allowed (you will never catch me singing the explicit version out loud in this household LOL) but I live in a Western country so cursing is fairly normalized amongst people my age. If nothing else, it has given me the ability to flawlessly transition between comfortably cursing around my friends if I want to and never cursing by mistake at home or at any important social setting lol. So like you said I think kids are way smarter than we give credit, I always knew when to be polite and respectful when speaking to others and only ever spoke casually like that around friends and no one had to teach me that, it's just common sense and you don't need to terrorize kids into learning that

I had no issues with the explicit version at all, in fact I love it lol, but I was wondering if he'd let us know why he felt like now it was the right moment to release a song like that, I was curious and as always he is super casual and honest about it (:

I have seen so many weird things being said about Jungkook since the release of Seven so I love seeing him speaking his mind like this and defending his rights to challenge himself, explore new things and simply being himself! Jungkook is the sweetest and most genuine person i’ve ever seen. He’s so unapologetically himself, you can always feel his pure sincerity and it really fills me with love and respect for him even more. I love that he always trusts his guts and tries new things without limiting himself at people’s expectations of him and I’m so glad that he knows that he can try new things & that real fans who love him for him and not some image they have made of him or refuse to let go (the baby image), will understand, support and respect him for everything he decides to do. I love him so much and I’m so proud of him! Also so proud of him for his #1 on the 3 billboard charts, he deserves this so much!

He’s the FIRST Asian soloist to top all 3 charts simultaneously!!!!! Jungkooks Seven now holds the biggest charting week for ANY soloist on billboards global 200 history… with 217Mstreams and 267K downloads!!!!! What an insane debut!!! I love how he holds the highest charting week for any soloist in billboard global 200 history…. Not “K-pop soloist,” not “Asian soloist” not “male solo artist,” not “Asian male artist!!!” That’s absolutely insane! I’m hoping we get his album sooner than later here ! Lol would be a bit of a lost opportunity to wait too long after this kind of success… but he can’t rush this… it’s gotta be how he wants it. I’m just so proud. 2023-07-25 06:05:23 +0000 UTCjungkook kept saying throughout the whole live that he wants to be comfortable and wants us to treat him like a friend. he has been slowly breaking down the barrier that exists between fan and idol for a while through these lives (he even said so in a recent interview) but it's still fascinating to see how open he is and how much more honest he wants to be with us going forward. i think this live is pretty much him saying like "there are sides of me that all of you might not know about but i want to gradually show them to you". he wants us to get to know him on a more personal level and have more of a casual vibe with us rather than us putting him on a higher pedestal and i think that's admirable. i have been an army for years but these past few months i've gotten to know so much about jk through these lives alone. he's just so unapologetically himself and i love him for it... he's just doing what he wants and he even mentions he doesn't care what the company thinks, gotta love him for that.

2023-07-25 05:51:06 +0000 UTCJungkook is one in a million… he’s one of the most authentic artists I can think of… bc well it’s not that others aren’t authentic… they are… but even for BTS if they’re asked the difference between them as a person and them as their stage name in BTS… most of them have a clear difference… they feel they hold a lot of things back bc they’re idols… and have a certain image. Maybe bc he’s the baby… he just has been embraced for being the stereotypical baby brother superstar genius lol jk is literally a creative arts genius… he’s exceptionally good at sciences and knows a lot about biology and physics… but when he talks about creating music or how he even listens to music… he said that he tries to draw a picture of how it sounds in his mind… I mean that’s not something most ppl do … he’s very quirky , random and doesn’t have much of a filter…. A lot of geniuses tend to be misunderstood bc of their oddities… and that’s JK perfectly lol he has such a pure heart that he just can’t wrap his mind around why ppl would be mean to someone bc they don’t like that they have a piercing , tattoo or made a creative choice with their own art that they didn’t like… it’s a foreign concept to him lol he doesn’t understand that… and I’m sure seeing like 7-10 different fandoms spreading lies and false allegations about him on sm while banding together to try and block Jk from succeeding on charts is extremely confusing… especially bc certain BTS members Solo fans were practically leading the charge and recruiting K-pop fandoms and western artist fandoms.. it’s the craziest thing I’ve ever seen when it comes to music and charts. The amount of hate and death threats have blown so far out of control… he deserves nothing but love… and army and everyone who loves him is working hard to help him feel that love too. I’m so proud of him for standing up for himself… he doesn’t owe us any explanations… he’s an adult wanted to do a flirty/sexy fun song that’s a total hit. He had so much fun with it even if it was so short…. I think he’s working hard on his actual album which is why the promotions were a bit short…. But usually they’re like two weeks so not too too short … but yeh…. I’m so proud of this king… all our boys breaking records left and right. I just hope jungkook knows that majority of ppl love and support anything he wants to do… and can find comfort knowing that we are here for him.. for them…. Always and forever I also think a lot of the reason jungkook has always just been able to be jungkook and not feel he really needed to force himself into any other label or box… is bc he was so young coming in…. He’s the baby of the group and he’s always been loved and celebrated for his weirdness… his quirks… just everything that makes him… him… so he wasn’t at an age when they started that he would be overthinking too much about having to be someone else on stage…. Or trying to be someone he wasn’t bc he thought that’s how you be cool and stuff like that… totally normal for young adults…he acted differently for different concepts just like they all did… but it was never separating the two parts of him bc at his young age.. a lot of that part of who you become just wasn’t there yet lol so he grew into who he is organically… bc he was just going through puberty and growing up. Surrounded by ppl who loved him, the boys adore him and take care of him when he was younger even though he’s pretty independent once he wants to do something then he wants to figure it out himself… but I think he always knew he had his family and his bighit and BTS family…. Before the worries about personas and stuff were ever even a thought to him… so instead he’s just always been himself .. in a way that he doesn’t feel like he’s held too much of himself back… but creatively we still have such a small sample size.. that it’s hard to know what he’s gonna do. I’m just proud of how he’s handled everything… he deserves the world.. they all do…

He was just thinking a mixtape concept not an actual album and then he saw how upset the fans were to not get an album and decided to release it on it's one year anniversary to celebrate. I do think that certain parts of the fandom gets out of control when the members lean into their sexuality. JK mentions later that he might still be the youngest of the group but he is grown. And honestly I've seen it in other fandoms. Enhyphen got back lash for dancing with females in the mv for Bite Me. Most of it from K-Engenes. They sent protest trucks to Hybe. When I-Engenes found out they sent protest trucks to protest the K-Engenes trucks! It was so wild lol! People need to bfr! Like JK lived with Namjoon! He knows the word very well lol! I love how he says it's armys fault that he has all this confidence too lol! I love the way he wants our relationship to be. It's okay to enjoy watching other groups, that doesn't take away your love for bts. Ignore those people. It's hard not to but please think of the people who stay here for you! Jimin's promotions ended within the blink of an eye so i understand where you're coming from. I also would love to hear some Korean songs on jungkook's album. If the rumours are true about him doing an entire album in english he can totally pull that off and sound amazing. He's done a lot of english covers in the past, possibly practicing for this very moment.. although i would admittingly miss his korean. I love your idea cait! I think it's absolutely adorable and so cute! ❤️ LMFAO people who say "i'm fine" while they're drinking are most definitely "NOT FINE." 🤣🤣

I know that can't always happen and it's honestly such a shame. I'm not the first person to say this and certainly not the last BUT the song doesn't change who he is as a person. He's still the same sensitive, caring, and silly jungkook that we all know and love. He said so himself, he wants to show us many different sides of himself even sides that we don't know and slowly break down walls/barriers so we can better understand him as a human. This is why we love bts because they want to show army their most raw and genuine selves that many artists would hide away from. I'm sure it's disheartening for him to hear that small percentage of people telling him: "He's tainted, he's not the jungkook i know, jungkook changed, etc etc" THIS IS STILL JUNGKOOK. He's an adult and this is something that he's never done before in his life and he wants to challenge himself as an artist. Embrace that idea for him. It's okay to not like the song but to attack his character because of it, that's totally out of line. Of course it's hard not to see jungkook as the little one, the golden maknae, the baby of the group and even i still do that sometimes. I think jungkook is telling those people who take it a step TOO FAR and cannot see him as anything but that. He's all grown up and doesn't want to be babied and has these type of thoughts. I remember one time in 2019 at a fan meeting someone brought a baby bonnet and told him to wear it and you can tell jungkook was extremely uncomfortable and not happy about it but obliged because it was a fan and he didn't want to be rude. Me and jungkook are the same age and i'm only a few months older than him so he's like a friend. I like how he wants army to feel like we're all close friends with the members. He wants to break free from that idol image and have a direct communication with us like we're all equal, we're all best friends, he's just a normal person like all of us and craves for that bond. I just wish that people would respect them and allow them to grow as individuals. Jungkook hit me up and we'll have some nice talks together. 🥂 Gathering all army for a toast. 💜 I'm so proud of him for standing up for himself and explaining everything even tho he didn't need to. He's going through a journey of self discovery and so are the rest of the members, you may like some things that they do and you may not, but please be mindful. As long as they're not hurting anyone or themselves, let them live. He was always extremely hard on himself and worried about other people's opinions and thoughts towards him and often hid when things got messy but now he's grown more confident. I think that's amazing. He's amazing. Bottom line i love him and he has many army who stand behind him.

So gonna watch 'with' you guys!. Hope you had a good weekend! Prob his promo was short as well because of the writers strike- so he couldn't do late night TV in the states like Fallon. He just loves talking to inanimate objects lmao - shouldn't the hotel he is at be a nice enough place that someone should be dusting that statue????
