Explanation why the cousin went to king that night on episode 17 pt 2. When the Grand Queen Dowager wanted to behead the Queen for the rumors, the cousin insisted he will bring her regency back which he did by LYING or using the Donghak believers to scare the King about the Queen being in danger because she was the owner of the book where the scribbles of codes where found. Everything was a set up to make the king step out of the palace so the cousin can kill him and cover up his death by blaming it to Donghak believers.
