Y'all are just like me. This whole season I would blush and smile each time Jang Uk and Yeong were together because they have such good chemistry. Their kiss scene literally broke Kdrama twitter, everyone was screaming.

2023-03-26 17:23:11 +0000 UTCI think Master Lee is doing what needed to be done based on the request of Lady Jin as she wanted to keep her daughter alive. He also probably meant erasing what is 'unnecessary' after knowing that even though it's BuYeon's body with Naksu's soul, it would mean chaos if the two of those entities got mixed up in terms of their respective memories or powers or anything that 2 individuals have uniquely of each other. So he believes erasing the memories and powers will keep the two individuals at bay. So that in a way these two entities can coexist without causing any trouble. But I believe just like in Season 1, he cannot guarantee that wouldn't happen.. he always take that wait and see attitude too. My heart just broke at the point that Jang Uk finally mourns for Mudeok/Naksu. He can finally now accept that she's really gone. You know sometimes psychologist uses this method where you physically let go of a balloon to say goodbye to your recent loss to actually see that someone 'left' by letting go.. I guess, killing that soul shifter gives some kind of closure for Jang Uk to finally say goodbye to her.. going thru the motion and feeling the mourning that he hasn't been able to do since 3 years ago. I felt like he just got hit by a ton of bricks when that wall of emotions just broke for him to properly acknowledge her death. Hence, that moment is very powerful and a turning point in this show in terms of Buyeon and Jang Uk's relationship. I cried a buckets by the way.. again!

2023-03-26 14:06:07 +0000 UTCI laughed when you guys were giggling/cooing at Jang Uk and Naksu's cute moments because sameee 🤣 1. The mass murder scene on the boat did not happened. It was some sort of ' image' for the stories going around by the guy that started the rumours about Naksu coming back. Something like, "she killed everyone on the boat but i managed to escape. she said she going to soul shift to other body and come back" Soon after the rumours spread, there was a scene with Yul, Danggu, and Sangho in Songrim. They said there are no boat found with murdered victims on it. The guy who started the rumours had a scene with so-i previously. He has a big debt due to gambling. Since so-i was asked by Jinmu to start a rumour about Naksu, she ask the guy to do it and she will then clear his debt. 2. You guys already said this but yes, Jang Uk knows the soul shifter he just killed is not Naksu. Since all the rumours about ghost / soul shifter Naksu that has been going around for years will stop (people saw he killed that soul shifter everyone velieved to be Naksu), Jang Uk finally decided to have his closure. He never goes to the cliff where Naksu was last seen falling into the lake, going there mean he finally accepted that she is no longer alive so he can move on. 3. This is just my guess on Master Lee's "erased what was unnecessary". I think he is referring to both of Naksu's and Buyeon's memories since she woke up not remembering anything. Seems like Master Lee left it to fate on what's gonna happen. where, when, how and who gonna regain back their memories and power.
