The 2nd opening is "What's up, people?!" By Maximum the Hormone. If I remember right the ending song is new as well by the same band. Also I agree, Misa is basically a pawn. I feel bad for her throughout the series. Again I hope your family feels better.

As many people said: Opening 1 describes light as that smart calm genius and opening 2 is light's mental health being destroyed. L eats a lot of sugar because he rarely sleeps and needs a source of energy. His brain functions at a very high level so all those calories were burned on his brain processing information every millisecond. The English dub during that conversation with misa was way funnier. It wasn't even translated here. Misa was like: "I can't imagine living in a world without light!" And L replies with "yes.... that would be dark." The funny undertones in this show get lost in the sub. l REALLY want to fast forward these episodes so bad! You guys don't even know what's to come. I hope you two are doing well! Feel better josh and ava too. π
