This show has so many comical scenes and the interaction between Characters are simple Awesome. I am so glad you are still going. Bamboo forests can be found in Hawaii, I often hike up to one trail near my home, the stalks are like 50 + feet high the wind whistle’s through it. I have a potted one that has been twisted together. Pandas are in China. And feed on Bamboo. You will definitely love this drama!

Dohwa (Jang Uk's mom) is the most beautiful women at her time so the fact Park Jin had feelings for her is not that suprising because everyone does including the late king. LOL 2. Most of outdoor setting in the show are real with some CGI added on to cover the modern background/sky/lamp post. There are some open set or areas throughout korea usually used for historical dramas. 3. Jang Gang (Jang Uk's father) and Park Jin are trying to protect him from being called a treasonist. In second video of your reaction starting at 13:42, you saw Park Jin was informed by Jang Gang that Uk's real father was the dead king. On the day Jang Uk's was born, a king's star appeared in the sky which symbolize someone who can take over the throne. However, this is a treason because the dead king's brother (current king) has already took over and he has a son who will eventually take over the crown. For both Park Jin and Jang Gang, Uk will be a lot safer and can live longer if he doesn't know about his real father, not being able to cast spell and no idea about the king's star. 4. The reason Jang Uk wanted to stay in Songrim is because there is a school for mages called Jeojingak inside Songrim that train mages to control their energy. He wants to train and learn to control his energy. Something Park Jin and Jang Gang doesn't want him to do. 5. It is possible for someone to shift soul to other body and then go back to their own body. However, they will still has the blue mark that indicates their soul once left and are still consider as soul shifter. Also Josh about your 'hard to remember names' like you mentioned in second video at 29:12, not only names, I noticed you has trouble in remembering faces too. LOL XD If you get confuse on who is who or the faces, feel free to go back or rewind a bit. It is better than prolonging the confusion as it will eventually make you more confused on the storyline.

I was laughing so here with you in this episode. It just felt like watching it again with friends so I had laughter tears rolling even though I’ve seen it all before. Watching with someone seeing it for the first time gives it a bit of a new flavor I guess. So thanks for laughing with me 😁. This is my favorite show and favorite OST. The OST is up there with LOTR for me. Just something about it.
