The reason why that guy wasnt playing is cuz as seniors, its basically time to focus on career stuff instead of clubs. For karasuno's team, the seniors decided against focusing on career stuff and put their volleyball club first until they graduate. Also the banana thing with Kiyoko is hinting she does have a crush on Tanaka.
