with their normal quicks, hinata doesn’t look at the ball. hinata is now trying to look at the ball and the blockers and just read the situation before he hits it, which is why his flow was ruined. it’s just something he’s never done or accomplished before. that’s why they get into their argument, where kageyama wants to stick to what they do for now and hinata wants to try this new thing.
