To answer Josh's question, the girl Sirius during the Tsuyu storyline I think you confused her quirk vs her equipment. You kind of figured it out towards the end, but rather than an amplifier of sound, its a communication device. Tsuyu had to push a button to speak so I compare it to police earpieces. Her quick is "Good Ear" so she can hear high frequencies that humans cannot, which Cait was saying at the end. That's how she heard the Captain doing his sonar clicking thing. On top of that, she has the communication devices shaped like fins to communicate with her crew (which are those buff human sailor people). So she has her quick and then normal equipment.
