A lot of meaningful discussions going on. I wont say much but I will bring this to light. In the midst of the debates going on about enlistment, they did pass a bill right before Jins 28th birthday to extend his waiting period and every member used that bill two years ago. A new president took over and the ministry of defense revealed recently this year that they would make a decision about Bts before Jins upcoming 30th birthday- many speculated they were waiting to see how people responded to the Busan Expo to influence their decision. As expected the world expo was a big success but then Jin did a sudden turn and Hybe revealed Jin had decided he would apply to revoke his extension which was something the ministry of defense completely did not expect and it made them look bad to the public, it was even revealed Jins decision was burdensome to them- plus he hasnt applied to revoke it yet but the government has to actually approve of this when that happens. The kicker here is that the new president that was elected after Moon turned out to be involved in some corrupt dealings and many suspect he wasn't even fairly elected. Now there are protests going on to punish him. If Jin and BTS had been exempted under his approval, it would have looked really shady- so Jins decision came right on time as every news network and their citizens are praising Jin, and this was right before the Presidents corruptness came to light. We dont know what will happen in the future, but no one can accuse him of being a puppet to the current regime so thats a dodged bullet in the meantime.

2022-10-27 03:55:57 +0000 UTCI just want to add that even when BTS announced they were going to do solo work I already felt like they were preparing us for this moment, which was very smart on their end since army's have to get used to the members striving/succeeding individually. Our part is to just give equal love to each one. J-hope was perfect to start the solo projects and armys really came through. It was great to see and I can't wait for jins! Like as an army we are going to have soooo much content from them individually and I will say that even when they are producing "solo" work it never felt like they were flying solo per say. What I mean by that, is some armys had this weird thought that solo meant they weren't going to meet up as a group or have time to talk to each other which isn't true since BTS are family and when they had solo stuff like J-hope, jin, yoongi, and V they all mentioned BTS in their recent works (had phone calls/insta shoutouts etc.) or members legit met with one another to support each other ...like there isn't a day when they don't talk or think about each other. And why??? (drum roll...answer is) cause they are a family and they actually love each other. So when people talk about them not being a group I'm seriously baffled and I know its a complete lie cause I trust BTS and like RM and all BTS members have said they will always be a group and they will always be a family no matter what:) so cause they are my family I will not be going anywhere and waiting for more beautiful moments that are yet to come all that comes with my happiness preachers BTS... also hoping to save money for more 2025 BTS MERCH+ concert <3

I feel like the guys have prepared us a bit . I'm glad jin decided to go on his own terms .You just got to trust in bts . I think I might be even sad when I see him leave leave.🥲 Also you know I got save money I'm going to so many concert this time that I'm sure they will have . I'll be there for them in 2025 need to be good military wife and wait for them😉. Don't worry guys I'll still be here for you guys too . I'm sure I haven't seen everything yet. 💜

2022-10-19 07:28:08 +0000 UTCThey actually don’t have a choice… but the choice they do have is to go together.. bc Jin has to go… he is the last year of age possible and there’s no other option for him. I’m just wondering how they’re supposed to keep them safe. Like there are no army men in sk lol how do they protect people of their level of success… bc there has never been a group with this level of success in the military. How do you protect them from everyone else when they have like 20 body guards per member just go go shopping. The fact that the ages are 18-28 and like Jin and yoongi.. their bodies have been through it… through hell after 10 years of being K-pop idols.. this has never been done with a group of 7 at their level of success. I’m worried that the toll that doing this for so long has taken on their bodies that they will be at risk for injury more and unsafe. But I’m guessing they’ve got some sort of system in place for how they will serve so they won’t be in any extra danger just for being who they are. I trust them and support them… but the boys have never spoken openly about how they feel about all of this.. and that bothers me. I’m sure they will now… but they never have.. other than restating the exact line the company says… and only Jin has stated that once… but they’ve never spoken about it like they’re excited about this or want to and that is what worries me. They’ve been serving their country for over 2 years with being diplomats of sk, special envoy for the president of sk, speaking at the White House, meeting with the us president, the 3 United Nations speeches, the amount of charity inspired globally in their name…. There’s nobody doing this like them. With the exemptions existing and how BTS have contributed more to their economy than anyone ever exempted… it’s started a lot of outsiders like local news stations and ppl not understanding how they are not exempt when these laws exist and with the majority of South Korea being for BTS being exempt… even though in 2020 only 41% were in favor of it.. and 2022 it was 61%…. I just don’t want the boys caught up in all this but they are… and it’s not their faults. I just want them happy, healthy and safe and will wait for however long it takes… 2025 will be epic. I just want them to be okay .. but I’m devastated… I think more with worry for them and how they’re doing and feeling.. it makes how heart broken during the festa dinner that they were and why they kept saying that they had so much regret in how the last two years went bc if they knew it would take two years for the pandemic to lessen then they would have went when they were originally planning on it… I think them going together was always the desire. However bc they waited they got all the success with dynamite, butter and ptd… but they regret not going and coming back now… and it makes more sense bc they had all that on them … I just worry for them

2022-10-18 23:59:44 +0000 UTCi am glad everything will go how they want, pn their own terms. they took the officials by surprise too who were ready to offer them some shady deal problably. i am endlessly proud of them. in a way the festa dinner prepared us for this day i guess, my twitter timeline took it really well. we trust them like they asked us too and we will support them all until ot7 is back with us 🤍🤍

Also I know it'll go by fast and with their solo stuff, we'll never have no bts content. Now we can all catch up and save some for bts group comeback after 2025.

It's a little shocking and upset, but I also trust that they will come back in 2025~! I also feel that we will continue to get new BTS content meanwhile, so the time will fly back fast, before we know it BTS will be BACK. Plus, I still have a ton of content to watch on your Patreon, so it gives me time to catch up on all the old BTS episodes, performances, etc. before 2025! I would enjoy your lives if you guys do more often~~ BTS will not be out of my life for the next 2-3 years ~~ P.S. I agree with you, Josh. I will also learn Korean in the next 2-3 years for when BTS returns !

The boys were on world tours, everyone was so happy, army was posting fancams and pictures, the world looked so bright. Selfishly i was really hoping to see them perform live BEFORE they went to the military. I wanted to see them so badly. Bts will never leave us without content. I know that. I've seen it countless of times when they took time off.. there's never a day that goes by without bts spewing out footage. The more you guys keep talking and comforting us the more i feel like crying. Thank you for being there. They definitely have tons of prerecorded content and not only that their solo projects will be phenomenal. I like what my brother told me: "Always remember to write to them." I think i'll do that in my journal and on weverse on special occasions like on their birthdays, christmas day or just simply when i miss them. It will greatly help me. The 2025 comeback will be bigger than ever! These boys will be even more grown as men, it's making me emotional thinking about it. I wish them all the best. Remain healthy and happy and we'll be waiting. 💜 Tae and yoongi going after the media and the reporters during their speech. Love to see it. Jungkook thanking his hyungs and army, hobi making me weep, jin telling us he was feeling sick, got ivs, and couldn't speak but still sounded and performed the best, all of them asking for our trust.. you got it! I'm definitely sad of course, but I'm so so proud of them, and I hope they all know that we will be here no matter what. It's scary and it'll be tough, but I think a lot of people are under the pretense that we won't get any content. We still have albums, photofolios, the Disney+ Documentary and more coming, not to mention the other members will be on social media and weverse live! I'm looking forward to the new contents and I'm so happy for the boys making their own decision, especially after possibly the biggest concert of their lives. 💜 We'll be waiting for them and nothing will change between us and them. I hope they will see that.

I was in denial and tbh furious about the SK govt about not having BTS exempt from it since they have contributed a lot in the economy. But then again after watching this… i felt embarassed and immature and I get it. It is their Law and as a Korean male citizen they have to fulfill it as some point. I am just proud of the boys and always have been. They really made a mark in the society and I am just glad that they finally ended the long time debate on whether they should enlist or not. I am just hoping that once they are there, they will be respected and treated fairly. I am still worried about their mental health as well but I know that our boys are strong. And they know how much we love them and we are all here waiting for them until they return. I know it is an honorable thing for them to do and I am here supporting them 1000%. I love My fellow ARMYS too. I saw a lot of meme and funny ones and it actually made it easier to go through. Thank you. I am just super proud of their decision and I think it is such a "BTS" decision (if that makes sense). Like they have always said they are ready to serve when called and they make the decision based on what feels right for them no matter what the government is deciding. And I get the sense that the Korean citizens are also very proud of their decision. I think this will make the bond between BTS and ARMYs even stronger. For now, I'm just very excited about all their solo stuff, and Jin's solo (with Coldplay) is so soon! I'm ready to give him all the love and support before sending him off💜

2022-10-18 02:45:33 +0000 UTC100% agree with Josh! i thought i was the only one who actually felt more reassured and proud than disappointed. of course it was a gloomy start to my week and i was down over it, but overall this was a much better experience than the festa chaos. i feel confident in the boys and in hybe and i’ll be here the entire journey, as long as they’re here. we all know there’s never a dull moment in bangtan land so i’m sure we’ll be well entertained and those 2 years will fly by ✈️💜

The government was playing around too much with there future and what they wanted from bts, so I'm happy that bts basically said they're taking there future into there own hands, and making the decision that will be best for them in the long run. Im sad to see them go but Im looking forward to them being 7 again in 2025. 💜
