Guys PLEASE watch the dub for the reactions instead!! The dubbed is soooo so much funnier and way more iconic and will just make for a much better and more entertaining video! The subs really aren't as good and they honestly kind of ruin it like Death Note is the one anime where you just HAVE to watch the dubbed and can just skip the subs.

It's like hospital playlist all over again lol Sorry to tell you that you'll prob continue to guess wrong with this show bc the way Light and L try to outsmart each other is insane and so good. The story will start to pick up so feel free to pause and read everything so you don't get lost. Love the reactions as always!

It's such an iconic moment representing the epic battle about to ensue between these two characters who are both EXTREMELY intelligent. The dub for this moment had me in awe, i adore their voices so much. Definitely let us know what you think later when you guys watch an episode in dub. Keep us looped. The soundtrack for this show is great too and L's theme is insanely popular. Ryuk is pronounced as REE-YOOK. I understand your suspicion of L josh. I would be too if this dude can literally solve anything without even needing to leave his house at times. 😂

In this episode it’s a great example that Light is willing to kill people who aren’t Criminals too. Light tried to kill L even though L isn’t even a Criminal, showing that he’s willing to kill innocent people just because he doesn’t like them. The best comparison to Light is to Thanos from The Avengers. Like Thanos plan makes somewhat sense and Thanos himself thinks he’s Good but in reality, Thanos is Evil and Thanos is in the wrong because he’s making a decision on his own to kill thousands just because he thinks it’s for the better. Light is the same, you can kinda see where he’s coming from and maybe you might agree that killing Criminals is a Good idea. But his reasonings for it are not Good and he’s doing all this just because he’s bored and wants to be seen as a God. On top of that, he’s also willing to not just kill Criminals of different degrees but to also just kill innocent people who are in his way. I love that in this Anime, we get to see the perspective of the Villain because it makes the story that much more interesting. And I love that Light is shown in Red to show that he’s Evil and the other Character in Blue to show that they’re Good.
