Annie is so compelling, even Isayama (the creator) did a lot to make her character be both empathetic for viewers but also a terrifying antagonist when we didnt know who she was. Eren not being able to kill her is a big part of his character development too because remember when he killed the kidnappers, to now being faced with someone he cares about (they cut a few scenes but you guys still caught on so its ok.) And youre right, we waited four yrs for season 2, im very happy you guys dont need to wait that long tho, youre so fun to watch!

Also Eren in this episode says “Every last one old them.” And “I’ll destroy the entire world!” Even though it’s a small thing, these lines show ErensCharacter. And are important to remember for season 4 too.
