Don’t know if this was a response to my comment and if so I 100% agree with you I was just explaining what everyone keeps saying he has since I thought they were confused about his disorder. If not then ignore me and like I said totally agree, environmental factors should always be taken into account when it comes to enhancement or development of a disorder and hyun soo has had the worse upbringing.
He’s such an interesting character obviously we can’t go into spoilers but he’s such a perfect example of what labelling can do to someone’s life, especially when it’s such a negative label.

Partly, I think his behavior depends on how you look at it--he does have a disorder but also he was raised by a man who was a serial killer and didn't value life or empathy. If you weren't raised with love or empathy and don't know how to understand what you are feeling, then he can't necessarily recognize when he feels love, happiness and so on. I think the show keeps you guessing if he really has no depth of emotion or if honestly he just doesn't know how to tell he does. After all, he not only was raised by a serial killer, convicted by everyone just based on his father, but he was also on his own since he was a teenager with no one to help him. You can also tell from these glimpses of his father that he fights against what his father would want him to do (such as he ran from the guy with the knife instead of stabbing him). I think people villainize what they don't understand, often sometimes out of fear or misunderstanding. Also people tend to paint family or friends of a bad person with the same brush regardless of the truth.

Not the affair with the old lady😭😭😭
The theories just get wilder every episode I’m deceasedd. Your after discussion was probably the most chaotic thing I’ve ever watched from you guys like you really had me rewinding multiple times to catch what both of you were saying over each other lmaoooo.
I’m impressed by how quickly Cait put the case together and connected the dots. You also brought up a good point about the sister. She seems sad about her brother and clearly resents their father. It’s a fair assumption that Do hyun soo must not have killed anyone for the sister to still care for him…right? But wait, we saw in one of the flashbacks she was with Hyun soo when the village head was killed and he had the murder weapon with blood all over his face, so what’s going on here🤔
I’ll just plot that in your brains for y’all to think about to add onto your list of theories lolol.

I don’t know if I misinterpreted when you mentioned multiple personality disorder and you do know this but hyun soo has anti-social personality disorder which is what munyeong from it’s okay not to be okay had! Recklessness, impulsivity, deceitfulness, manipulation, does include criminal behaviour and lack of remorse or empathy hence why hyun soo is out here trying to learn how to smile or cry.

Now I can’t wait for the next episode. Love the reaction!!!
In the rain with her, he genuinely smiles for the first time without realizing :)
