Young Actors Retreat ( MT Youth) Ep 1

So what will happen when five young actors and actresses apiece from three recent hit drama series titles get together? All will be revealed when the cast of “The Sound of Magic” (2022), “Itaewon Class” (2020), and “Love in the Moonlight” (2016) head off on their own MT retreat!
It’s a star-studded line-up of stars – the likes of Park Seo Joon, Park Bo Gum, Ji Chang Wook, Hwang In Yeop, Kwon Nara, Ji Chang Wook, Kim Yoo Jung, and Ahn Bo Hyun are all onboard. But when these actors all get together, fun and games will certainly ensue as groups of actors who haven’t seen each other for months – years in some cases – reunite along with their peers to cook, compete in games, and even operate an outdoor pub. Will the actors stick in groups with their former co-stars – or will new and exciting friendships be formed? Only time will tell!

I was so excited to see you had reacted to this. Especially with the BTS military issue, I’ve been thinking about Bo Gum lately. I was kind of worried (not really, but you know it’s emotions that are difficult to sort out) with BTS announcing they were going in and Jin going so soon. But I remember when Bogum went in and I was (maybe concerned?) for how he would be treated as a famous entertainer and frankly a section of army was jealous of his friendship with V. He chose Air Force so it was longer than the 18 months, but although it seemed like forever at the time, I’d watch his previously filmed things and fall deeper for him in my favorite actor type of way. His experience gave me reassurance for BTS. He got out and soon he was flying to the Paris Celine show with V and Lisa. He seems okay. I knew he did this show so I wanted to see if he was like the old Bogum. Right away I saw his sweet sweet smile. I’m getting ready to watch this first episode so thank you for this gift! Then I see Seojoon from the Wooga Squad is also a cast member! I really liked him in Itaewon Class, but he became special to me for his treatment of Taehyung. He’s tall but not super, super tall, but he made V look so smol and like a real little brother in Friendcation. Like everything connected to BTS, it melted my heart. So thank you for a bonus gift of seeing him. 💜

The fact that it's a musical definitely turns a lot of people off from it, but the amount of songs decrease rapidly as the show continues and they're honestly used really well as a tool to show the character's inner thoughts and feelings. It's also a really dark, deep, thought-provoking storyline. My fav JCW role of all time and what I would consider a masterpiece!

2022-09-11 14:08:29 +0000 UTCI just love it 😍 so happy to finally getting into it. JCW is my absolute favorite of all K-drama Actors, seeing him outside of his acting is so awesome. I’ve heard so much as to what a shy guy he is, and that he gets very nervous in situations and surrounding he’s not familiar with, so far I find so adorable (that genuine humble self). I love these kinds of variety shows, Korea has some of the best Game shows, they are hilarious, the games are a blast, Korean celebrities are very competitive. I’ve followed RUNNING MAN for years and THREE DAYS TWO NIGHTS. Seeing the previews to this show, I am anticipating another fun show that could keep on going with other youthful cast members in the next couple of years if not longer. The cast from Sound of Magic are fairly new except for JCW & HIY. Kwon Nara acted with JCW in Suspicious Partner, as well as Kim Yoo-Jung & JCW in Backstreet Rookie.

I personally don’t like musicals but I binged it in a day, it was that good. It’s honestly more than just songs (although the music is amazing), there’s a lot to learn from it.
