This episode is why the whole “American sports are the same training” or “America dance have the same thing” bc of the societal expectations. They said there’s like 400 different companies or something and that hundreds of groups debut every year and like 1% make it more than a year. These kids are going to school and training 12 hours a day while in school? How is that possible? These groups have no clue and barely a chance to be able to make it in their industry… and this training takes away from some school time… so what happens to all the kids who don’t make it as idols… the 99%… who stopped going for the extra schooling in dreams of becoming an idol…. They’re behind anybody their age and returned to the world that tells them they’re nothing of not in the top percent school wise or an idol or in the entertainment industry successfully. The school system and education isn’t drilled into our youth as harshly and mental health isn’t taboo here to the extent that it is there. These kids have barely a shot over there and I’m glad bts has been a light for people broken down by society all over the world in whatever expectations … but I just don’t think the way idols train there would be legal here… but I hope things are changing bc of them 💜

Gosh i remember watching letter to army and that entire video made me cry so much. "Best i love you" i know cait. 💕🥺 Ohhh i think i know what moment you're referring to josh about jin. It was from their docu series break the silence where he talked about wanting others around him to be happy hence why he always tries his best to stay positive and doesn't share his inner demons. He also mentioned it briefly during BVS2 with joon. That's why we never hear jin talk about his struggles or any hardships because he doesn't want to make army feel sad. He even took out his entire interview for "you quiz on the block" to avoid making us feel bad, army was wondering why his part was removed. Also one time on vlive he talked about something upsetting to him and was on the verge of crying and quickly ended the vlive while assuring us to take care of ourselves and that he would return in a happier state for us. I wish he would open up to us more about his feelings because i'm sure carrying all of those burdens on your own must be tough. I understand he prefers not to and is most comfortable keeping it that way. Meanwhile he was also the member who dropped the bomb on us about bts possibly disbanding so that alone was shocking ESPECIALLY coming from jin. Bts as a whole are extremely open with us as it is and i'm forever grateful for that. It's hard to be vulnerable and that's why they have a loyal fan base. 💜 Namjoon handled many criticisms thrown at bts and himself extremely well at such a young age. He's a very wise young man and to be under such immense pressure while also trying to support your team members as the leader and make sure that they're okay is stressful. He never broke and kept being strong for bts. And yep, beautiful music comes from twisted sadness. Art is art.
