Lol I know I'm late to the game but they emphasized him passing the guy with the strawberry drink because he's a character from the drama Extraordinary You which was also made by the same team that made True Beauty. Early on we seen Eun Danoh and Baek Kyung (& Haru is mentioned as well) in the blind date movie theater scene whom were the main characters of Extraordinary You. Also the baseball guy acted in Extraordinary You as well. The music in both dramas is the same/similar as well.
