There are many familiar Korean Actors and Actresses you’ve already watched, who are your favorites, unless you have an app that provides tons of dramas to choose from it’s a bit difficult because Netflix is still trying to offer more KDrama’s. I would like to recommend THE KING, ETERNAL MONARCH. It has a lot of genre’s Romance, Thriller, Fantasy, not to skip the handsome face of Lee Min Ho (that’s a new one for you) seen it but would definitely watch it over again with you. His debut drama BOYS OVER FLOWERS is on Netflix, was considered at one time the breakout K-drama for first time viewers, then there is HEIRS. And more but not on Netflix. K2 and HEALER with Ji Chang Wook.

"The red sleeve(옷소매 붉은 끝동)". It is a romantic drama based on real history. I'm Korean, and this is the most popular drama recently. Very beautiful and emotional. I will recommend a promotional video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVcDBAyRHSE And PLZ DON'T watch "Snowdrop(설강화)". This drama has a very serious distortion of history. As a Korean, I am VERY upset and angry. Korea won freedom and democracy through bloody struggle. However, the plot of the play treats such sacrifices very lightly and distorts them deliberately. So boycotts are taking place in Korea. Overseas fans of the actors may not know this fact and may recommend it, but it makes me sad and upset. A drama is just a drama, but I think there is a line that should not be crossed. This is why we should study history. P.S And I don't usually comment often, but I'm always grateful for your deep interest and affection for Korea.

OMG! I forgot to mention - "ONE ORDINARY DAY"- starring our very handsome Kim Soo Hyun (main actor in "It's Okay Not to Be Okay"). It's his latest series and it is an extremely gritty, dark crime drama. You will see our Soo Hyun with all of his god like physique "exposed"! I was riveted through all 8 episodes as it is so amazing. It's a short drama so there's no "draggy" episodes and this is one of the best kdrama of 2021-2022!!!! xoxo

Flower of Evil(2020) or I Can Hear Your Voice(2013) It's a drama that I really enjoyed watching. If you can find a video with subtitles, I want you to watch it. Both were popular programs in Korea. Personally, I recommend "I Can Hear Your Voice". When everyone recommends Korean dramas, there are many things that are mixed with slightly comic elements. It's hard to find the comic elements of these two dramas, but I hope you watch them if you have a chance! I used a translator because I'm Korean. I'm sorry if the sentence is weird!

It's a story that focuses on romance and events rather than fantasy or action, so I think it'll be good for you to watch alone. - The Beauty Inside. (The movie has the same title, but what I recommend is Drama) - Pinocchio - Master's Sun - It's Okay, That's Love - Legend of the blue sea Actually, my most recommended drama is 'Mr. Sunshine'. but it's a little heavy to watch alone, so I think it'll be good to watch while talking to Josh, so I'd like to recommend it after It's Okay to Not to be Okay and Goblin. It is a drama based on Korean history, written by writers such as 'Descendants of the Sun' and 'Goblin', and its content, quality, and scale are really good. There are quite a few things about the U.S., so I think it will be interesting for you guys and it will be a drama where you can learn more about Korea.

I recommend Hometown Cha Cha Cha and Yumi’s Cells if watching alone because it’s more on romance/romcom like Our Beloved Summer. While You Were Sleeping or W: Two Worlds would be good to watch together if you liked Vincenzo and Goblin I think. I also liked: Startup (office romance) True Beauty (school romance/romcom) The King: Eternal Monarch (romance-mystery/time travel/parallel universe? a bit complicated for some, but I loved it) Sorry not sure if you watched some of these already.. there is a website where I watch most of these kdrama with no ads and it is hd. If you want I can message it to you. You can find/search lots of kdrama there too..the creator said if it’s already on Netflix it’s probably not gonna be on that site though.

Its a random one but one of the first K-dramas I watched was called 'Hello My Twenties' (it might have a second name but thats what its called on Netflix) and I loved it! it's the only K-drama I've ever rewatched more than twice. I wouldn't mind if you and Josh watched it together but tbh it might not be his thing. Its about 5 girls all with very different personalities living together and slowly bonding, its not like a lot of other K-dramas I've watched before and thats why I think its so good 😊 I don't think its too well known so idk how many votes it will get but its worth a shot! Also last thing, the show has 2 seasons but season 2 is nothing like the first and in my opinion shouldn't have been made. If you do watch it you can choose to watch the second season but just know some of the main cast change and I don't like that sort of thing 😅 it ruins the emersion
