Sorry this comment is gonna be long since I have a few things to say 😂
First off, I was waiting to see your guys reaction to the tour cancellation news since I knew that you guys had tickets for both day 1 and day 2 and was planning on taking your daughters so it’s a shame it’s not happening anymore and you can’t have that experience with them. I live in the UK and didn’t get any tickets in the first place (I wouldn’t be able to afford them and I don’t think they had even gone on sale yet for us here 😂) but it’s still sad to see everyone on Twitter who had been holding onto tickets for nearly two years, and can’t go to those concerts anymore 😓
The second thing, I’m pretty sure BTS are not the first to do VCR’s in concerts, and they are not the first to have a storyline throughout their discography. I’ll agree that they are the biggest in K-Pop doing it right now, but other singers (both in K-Pop and other artists around the world) have done it before. It was even brought up in a BTS interview about a Western band from like the 70’s and 80’s having a whole album where they had a storyline going throughout it, and how BTS are doing similar. You have to be careful about certain things like this because it’s a stereotype for some ARMY who only watch BTS and don’t really emerge themselves in the whole K-Pop culture, that they think BTS was the first to do everything. I’ve heard statements/questions like “maybe BTS are the only ones who use the term bias and maknae?” “BTS were the first to use light sticks” (like what you said you used to think Josh) and it can frustrate people because K-Pop is so much more than BTS and it’s been around much longer than BTS. I’m not trying to take away BTS’s achievements because they have made a lot of firsts in the industry, but they are not the origins of K-Pop and are not the only ones representing it.
The third thing, I found it a bit difficult to hear you guys through most of this because I lot of it was loud music, your mic is at a good level because you’re at the perfect volume when there not video playing or you’ve paused it, so maybe you need to turn down the video you’re watching just a tad?
And the final thing 😂, I don’t want this to sound harsh I’m just giving a suggestion, but Josh do you think you could move your headphones so you’ve got one on your ear and the other one away from your ear so you can hear your surroundings? It’s just that there’s been quite a few times (not just this video but in others) where Cait is talking while a video is playing, and then you start talking over her because you don’t realise she’s trying to say something, and then other times she’s saying a point, and then a few seconds later you repeat that point but you don’t realise you're saying the same thing because you can’t hear what she’s saying 💀 I just think it’ll make it a little less awkward as a viewer because there’s times where I feel like I’m just watching Cait have a conversation with herself (it’s extra awkward as well because she’s got earphones and she has one in, one out, so she can hear what you’re saying and nearly always replies - but you don’t do it back)
Sorry for talking so much 😂 my last point I’ve been noticing for a while but I felt bad pointing it out so I’ve been postponing saying it. I hope you take it as constrictive criticism and not me trying to be rude 💜
