Book 3 scheduling information

Hey, everyone!  At time of posting, the last chapter of Lancer just went up on Patreon, and will be posting to RR next week.  That means it's time to talk about next steps!

1.  End-of-Book-2 AMA

To celebrate the end of book 2, I'm doing an AMA on the Godslayers discord.  That's happening on Saturday, July 29, something like 3pm eastern time.

Feel free to ask questions about the serial that you don't feel like you should be able to ask; in the worst case I'll just drop the RAFO (Read And Find Out).

2.  Book 3 will begin in late August for patrons

I'm taking a one-month break to finish out my summer semester and brainstorm for book 3, which is tentatively titled Tempest.  Patrons will get chapter one on Saturday, August 26.

In the past, I've paused billing while on break.  My experience trying to manage that was horrible enough that I'm avoiding it this time around.  Instead, I'm planning to offer some behind-the-scenes stuff about the book and my process in designing it.  

I'm expecting to release 2-3 of these posts at irregular intervals until Tempest begins.  They'll be patron-only until some indeterminate future date.

So far I've got one planned post about the philosophy behind Kives.  If you're a patron and there's a topic you'd like to hear more about, feel free to leave a comment here or on the discord.

3.  Patreon is moving to 4 advance chapters rather than 1

I'm in the weird position where my only source of income is putting my hobby on the internet and asking people to pay for it.  One of the things that does that is a higher number of advance chapters.

The demands of grad school mean I can't really increase my output, so instead I'm delaying the RR debut of Tempest for four weeks after the Patreon release.

Pricing will remain the same.

4.  Public readers will get book 3 in late September

Tempest is scheduled to hit RR on Saturday, September 23, for the reasons listed above.  The current Saturday release schedule is in response to my class schedule this semester, so the date might change by up to 6 days before we get there.
