Writing Update 16/04/25

Some genius higher up saw that through immense effort we cleared an ungodly amount of projects. And were set to not miss a single date, we had a chance to relax a little bit.
Now the engineering team has eighty more projects to work on, a solid third of them landing on my neck of the team. So yeah...that happened earlier this week.
Have been leaving work a little too brain dead to do much.
Long weekend, wooooo~!
ANYWAYS!
I got in the zone yesterday and wrote a bunch. BuuuUUUuuUUUuuuUUUUUUuuuuUT! My brain short circuited and it's not for any of the stories that are out. That said, when I do release that, I hope you lot will enjoy it.

The winner of the poll, to a combined Patreon/Subscribestar voting of 191 votes, is none other than He Who Fights Demons.
Rage Against the Dark came second at 111 votes, and Gallows Humors came last at 51 votes.
I...I think I'm starting to see a pattern. XD
I have a rough outline for next chapter. I just...I just need to get home without my brain melting out of my ears. My hope is to knock the chapter out Friday, edit Saturday and post Saturday evening.
We will see how successful that plan is. As usual, I will do my outmost to do right by you lot and post no later than Sunday. If it's looking like it's not gonna happen, I'll let y'all know.

2025-04-17 22:30:09 +0000 UTCOf course the reward for hard work is just even MORE hard work. It's not like we work extra hard to have time for ourselves or anything. But noooooo.... the higher ups are always 'oh, you are low on work that means you need more' as if we don't work hard for that paycheck or anything. Sorry for the rant I HATE the big bosses that have no idea how much we work or even suffer to make deadlines but still complain that we don't work ; fast enough, safe enough, well enough, or multiple of them at the same time. Even though they don't seem to grasp the concept of many, fast, well done, or hard pick two and only two.

But it's going to be a more light hearted story overall. Closer in tone to He Who Fights Demons than Saving Yourself. And I dare say, maybe one or two of y'all who read my stuff might recognize the property. But it's one that's near and dear to my heart.
