Writing Update 14/02/25

First, I would like to apologize for not getting this done sooner.

Boy howdy, has this week been...a week.

In short, I've worked seventeen hours overtime this week, and will need to work Saturday and Sunday. Tuesday my dog got sick so I got a combined total of two hours of sleep that day. I got sick so I've spent the last two nights in a fevered stupor, and the next chapter of Kaiju Slaying is...not done.

The good news. I won't have to work all day Saturday and Sunday. So I'm gonna chug a bottle of dayquil and write my fat heart out in an attempt to get the chapter done and on time for you guys. But uhh...this week of all weeks, I am absolutely not certain I'll keep the streak going.

Onto other news. The update schedule poll was very handily won by the 'three main story posts one side story post' option, so that is how that will remain. Wohoo democracy.

He Who Fights Demons won the story poll by a combined total of two hundred and seventy one votes to one hundred and twenty one. So that one will be worked on as soon as I am finished with the next Kaiju Slaying.

But...Thinking on it. Giving a story three consecutive wins is like...a quarter of the year. And that's a lot. I'm gonna walk that back to two consecutive wins before they're taken off the poll for one rotation. Just to give the other stories a chance.

Is like, a full quarter. That's a long time.

Gods I wish my job was less mentally draining and less mercurial with the schedule.

And to think this week isn't the tsunami of shit that happens yearly. That's still on the horizon. XD

Blegh. Anyways. You guys are not here to listen to me bitch about work.

I...don't actually have anything else. So here is a picture of my boy Orsus, the angriest lawnmower complete with two two-headed puppers. My favorite warcaster back when I played Warmahordes.

A while back Warmahordes got weird, and then my army(ies) essentially became legends and uhh...yeah. I don't have the funds to just buy a new army all over again so...yeah.

I should do a story with Orsus at some point. This (literally) crazy guy is one of my favorite characters of the setting.
