Writing Update 04/09/2024

Good Evening folks. Hope this past weekend and the week so far have treated you well.

Welcome to his writing update that...I was...going to write...three weeks ago...

ANYWAYS.

Onto the main topic of conversation. Work as always, does not treat me well. I will do my outmost to make certain the next chapter of It's About Saving Yourself is ready for presentation before y'all by the weekend. I have no overwhelming reason to think it won't be. But on the eventuality it isn't. I've got five chapters of something else I'll post to tide y'all over while the chapter cooks.

Which serves as a completely natural and not at all ham-fisted segue into the main topic for this here writing update.

My idea of doing other stories beyond the main two that require commissioning via ko-fi. Since you lot are the reason I'm managing to pay my medical bills. I do believe you guys deserve a say so on how I go about those.

So here is what I have in mind so far. The commission price for a chapter will be 350 dollars. Once that's reached, the commissioned chapter for the fic in question will be added to the lineup for release. Said chapter would consist of 2600 to 3000 words. Though my aim will be to release a good chapter, meaning it could very well run higher than that. The Patreon will get it as soon as it is done, and the chapter would be subsequently released publicly a week later. The commission would work through Ko-Fi, where anyone can put any amount, from a cent to all 350 bucks. So the commission would happen collectively. And if those aren't commissioned at all, effort would not be taken from the main two stories.

The stories would obviously be He Who Fights Demons. The five chapters of something else that I want to give a final looksee before posting them to see if I catch any glaring issues. This is also a Waifu Catalog story, but just like Kaiju Slaying and He Who Fights Demons, it's my own spin on the Company. And a third, which could also be a Waifu Catalog story, or a different Self Insert in the vein of It's About Saving Yourself. Or not a Self Insert at all. Said third story hasn't been written yet. I had a third but had to scrap 20+ thousand words because the concept was just not going to work, and I didn't realize that fact until I was 20k words in. XD

...Huh, I could probably put Forgotten Remnants up for that kinda commissioning. Food for thought.

Either way. I would very much appreciate ya'll's input. Because I'm working to please you lot, because, as I have said, I owe y'all my best possible effort.

Have a pic of some cobbled together Heavy Weapons Teams that I did. Because I didn't want to let the whole box of bits go to waste. I could totally make more than three measly heavy weapon's teams with what's in that damn box. >c>

Now, how are those entirely normal looking men shouldering a whole-ass autocannon?

You know, since I made those barricades out of GW sprues, those models are still technically 70+% GW plastic by volume...Does that still make them tournament legal? I honestly don't know, haven't been keeping up with that scene since covid.
