2025-10-05 02:47:50 +0000 UTCI mean, Gamblers Guide was the same with him getting the system in chapter 1, doing the rolls chapter 2 and actually being in the world chapter 3. I try not to make assumptions when writing so I explain things again both for those who don't know and those who forgot. The story proper starts next chapter where it is done with introductions and setups. Chapter 1 and 2 were needed to properly establish the premise.

I mean, we know what the chaos gacha is already, we didn't need most of the *first* chapter. Beyond that? The most annoying thing that makes me drop every single Waifu Catalog fic that uses it, it's The Company being an actual character in the story. I don't really care about the actions or opinions of any flavor of incomprehensible eldritch weirdos, not its mouth pieces, regardless of what they are called. I really don't like this, it's two chapters of "this could have been an e-mail".

2025-10-05 00:17:33 +0000 UTCCyberpunk all the way hotd is so short a jump that it's insignificant. Kill one teacher blame it on zombies use meta and powers. Profit. I know I'm hand waving but hotd has consistently been a fic killer. Also I think the deal is either a companion, extra mission or drawback for extra rolls.

I wanted to fit it all in one chapter but as I said yeah, I don't really do long chapters, not really my style. I probably won't do Fallout since Cyberpunk is really enough tech for me, same goes for Hoyo stuff, maybe Genshin but probably not. I'm not big on sci-fi in general, Cyberpunk is really the only exception. I'll probably do a world popularity poll around chapter 5 - 8.

So long as he gains some type of transportation ability then he would be able to salvage just about anything one could find in a modern day world. He could plunder Fort Knox for all the hard gold he could want, raid abandoned military bases, and whatever else he could think of. He is right in that its relatively low risk so long has he gets some combat abilities. But if that offer at the end is what I think it might be then our patron could decide to combine some universes into one. If that is the case then I’d recommend adding Resident Evil and Dying Light. Things will start if easy but as time goes on then the virus will start mutating into the abominations that the T-Virus and Harran Virus could become. It also opens the path for more bio mutations if the gacha can protect him from completely turning. Cyberpunk though is just as you said. There is a wealth of opportunity in Night City and his pulls will be able to help him out in getting his feet off the ground. Gaining upgrades through implants will also be simpler and he could get lucky in getting some of the more tech focused pulls to really make him super human. Ultimately I think I’d want see Cyberpunk first. Theirs enough struggling at the start to keep things interesting and there are some characters I’d hope he would be able to help out. This is completely a me thing but I’d hope he start before Edgerunners and save Gloria. Everyone needs a sexy Latina milf and he could get the Sandy out if it too. As for other potential worlds. You mentioned Skyrim so I would add Fallout in there as well. There is an ass load amount of loot and potential tech with the entire franchise. I’d personally tackle New Vegas and its DLC’s and make a new settlement out of it all. The Big 3 feels obligatory if only to ransack them for loot and high tier waifus. I’m a gacha player so I’ll add the Hoyo trio in Genshin, Star Rail and Zzz as well as WuWa for fun adventures, powers, and women. If we’re going for medieval fantasy then early Dragon Age, Baldur’s Gate 3 and anything from FromSofts lineup. Sci-fi would be Borderlands, Mass Effect, Xcom and Titanfall. There’s just too many good choices. Good stuff man though I do feel this should have been part of chapter 1. I know you don’t do long chapters but prologue stuff like this should really be a first chapter thing and the second one should be where we jump into the action. Can’t wait for the next one man!

2025-10-04 18:58:10 +0000 UTCI wasn't sure about this from the first chapter and I'm not really happy with the second pretty much being a continuation from the first, prologue for me should be a single chapter, however I am curious how Cyberpunk is gonna be altered here, maybe it's gonna merge with HoD unlikely but possible, pulls weren't great but plenty of time for better ones.
