Rip to my dear friend and fellow creative Jimmy, also know as brother jimmy photography. Photo taken by him as well.

I worked with him exactly 2 years ago this month. The shoot I did with him is permanently engrained in my mind as a true turning point in my life as well as a model and my career. I had just quit my job at target to pursue modeling full time and I was extremely broke for a lack of a better way to put it. I was scared, I was vulnerable and I had no plan. I followed jimmys page randomly after seeing him on another models page. He texted me the same evening I followed him and asked me to shoot. He was at the time in seattle shooting with another model and wanted to drive all the way down to Portland just to work with me, to complete another state he had shot in on his road to shooting in all 50 states. I was elated with happiness and gratitude that a photographer wanted to travel out of his way to come work with me as well as pay me for my time. From the moment we first introduced ourselves to one another, there was a warm inviting and kind energy to jimmy. I instantly felt so comfortable and happy around him. We worked on a few different concepts, the first being his “Nude in the street” series. This was my first time being completely utterly naked in public, although it was just for a moment to capture a few images, I can’t begin to tell you jsur how liberating that moment was for me. To this day when I am feeling nervous about something or experiencing “stage fright” I will think of that moment when I was completely nude in public and tell myself ,” c’mon you can do this you’ve literally been naked in public”

Jimmy flooded me with praise and truly boosted my confidence and working with him was such a valuable experience in my modeling journey. We had plans to work together again and it absolutely breaks my heart we will not be able to. I am forever moved and touched by jimmys kindness and impact he had on me. Rip my sweet friend.. until we meet again. ❤️
