Hello. First of all, I just wanted to let you know that I have uploaded all the videos of model H.N.
Today I will try to describe various aspects of the shoot that I have not revealed much about.
We feel that clarifying the actual shooting situation will clarify what can and cannot be done for our members.
I rent a room in a certain apartment complex in Tokyo on an hourly basis.
Filming is done in the shower room of one of the rented plots.
We take multiple models per room rental opportunity, switching them in turn.
A clear storage container with a volume of about 46 liters (12.15 gallons) is filled with water or hot water.
I dissolve about 350 grams of salt in my recent shoots. This adjusts the osmotic pressure of the water to a value similar to that of water in the body, thereby reducing eye and nose pain.
The equipment consisted mainly of GoPros, three of which were set up at the bottom of a container of water. We once filmed from the side surface, but decided against it due to poor sales in Japan.
Everything must be completed within one hour.
After the model arrives, we ask her to sign the contract that we have already sent and explained to her, and to wear a plastic jacket to protect her clothes from water damage. This process takes about 10 minutes.
Next comes the videotaping, which takes about 35 minutes.
The first video scene is breath holding. A female assistant has recently been keeping track of the breath-holding time with regard to breath-holding.
Yes, the presence of a female assistant makes the model feel at ease during the shoot.
After the photo shoot, the model dries her hair in the remaining 15 minutes or so. I and my assistants clean the containers.
The model then receives her fee and returns home after all the work is done.
Compensation is a little less than $100 per hour, which is relatively inexpensive.
In exchange for the low fees paid to the models, we limit the use of their full portrait rights to the full-length video only. This is why we blur the previews and thumbnails.
In some instances, the contract is to use the model's full likeness in thumbnails and previews. This raises the fee to about $160. A video based on this agreement will be uploaded in the future.
To be honest, we would like to raise the model's compensation to $300 or more, but even with the current low compensation, it is still at the break-even level.
For the Japanese market, the company has notified models of the Fantia site. Similarly, Patreon has been notified to models as the site for sales outside of Japan.
In addition, a recent attempt has been made to establish additional rewards. Based on the highest breath-holding time record, we give models an additional $0.63 per second as an additional reward for exceeding the average breath-holding time of 20 seconds or more, which is considered average for Japanese women in general. Since the start of this policy, the breath holding time has been increasing.
As mentioned earlier, Japanese women tend to hold their breath for shorter periods of time than Americans or Europeans; even a minute or so can be quite painful, so holding one's breath for two minutes is a very rare model.
In the works of past makers, there are records of Japanese models holding their breath for 3 or 4 minutes, but this was 25 years ago, and times have changed. Specifically, the patience of all Japanese people has declined.
We teach hyperventilation and whole-body relaxation as tricks to make models hold their breath longer, but it is difficult to improve the time record because the breath-holding posture is downward and puts pressure on the abdomen and chest. Nevertheless, we will continue to experiment with various methods and aim to reach the 2-minute mark as our immediate goal.
