Hibiscus Sketch Animation

I've been working on this sketch animation of Hibiscus.

At this point its become more of an animation study/exercise I picked up a new book recently called the "animators survival guide" about half way through this project. Its given me some valuable insight on how to make my animations a bit better.

What was crazy to me was how these professional animators will draw quite literally a hundred frames for a simple walk cycle. How these professional animators do it is beyond me. Reading the book has made me feel like an infant when it comes to really understanding animation.

My thinking process with this animation was more or less, forget about those hard frame limits, or cutting corners, just make the motion and forget about the rest. right now this animation is up to whopping 75 frames/sketches.  I'm figuring that it will easily cap out at over 100.

Given the length of this project, I figured its probably best to work on it a bit more passively, which means adding about 5 frames a day too it, until its done and focus on what most people wanted to see, and that's the Catfishing animation.
