It's been a minute since I've been around new-age people like that. Two things that struck me were how the new age approach can be used to absolve you of responsibility of almost anything ("I was moved"/ "the spirit guided me"/etc.) as well as the fantastical amounts of narcissism it can justify i.e. believing you manifested an earthquake or protected the plan you're in with magic love energy. Am I reading that right?
