Monday update 2/2: Power and Lum (retro-style), plus an update to Kyoko Otonashi
Added 2024-12-10 05:56:39 +0000 UTCSorry that this post came a little later than expected; I got pulled into something after work, which killed most of my free time this evening. Power won the poll, so here is her character model! Fortunately, I found a pre-compiled dataset for her, which saved me a lot of time compared to manually compiling one. As a result, I produced a version of Power that does a pretty good job of looking like her anime counterpart. I'll plan to do Chika Fujiwara (the 2nd place winner of the poll), Belldandy and Akari later; I'll hold off on doing Mion anytime soon since she doesn't seem too popular here (a shame!).
Additionally, since I really like her and a few people have asked me to make her, I made a retro-styled version of Lum based on the 1980s version of Urusei Yatsura. A lot of people have done the 2022 version, which I think is great, but I saw Urusei Yatsura when I was 14 or so, so the original version has something of a nostalgic quality to me (despite the fact the series aired way before I was even born!). I figured I might as well update my model of Kyoko, since both series were created by Rumiko Takahashi, who is also the creator of Ramna 1/2 and Inuyasha.
