Teaching myself image animation (Live2D) and NieR concert next week! 来週は映像アニメーション(Live2D)とニーアコンサートを独学！

Two super quick updates, one potentially positively impacting my creation ability, while the other is just a fun little personal update.

1. I am teaching myself how to use Live2D! In short, I want to learn how to animate images and make animations. For an example of what I mean, please check out artist Suuru on Pixiv. While I enjoy making high-quality computer-assisted images, I feel that my content will become stale and boring if I don't branch out and learn new skills. One of my philosophies is that learning and trying new things regularly is essential for living a good life, so I will spend a little time each week learning the software. I was able to get a 3-year license for Live2D Cubism for ¥8,812 (about $60) by inputting my university's email address, so I have already started the process! It will likely be some time until I can put these (soon to be) nearly learned skills to use, but I hope you will all continue to support me and my efforts!

Live2Dの使い方を独学で勉強中です！つまり、画像をアニメーション化してアニメーションを作成する方法を学びたいのです。私の言いたいことの例としては、Pixiv でアーティスト Suuru をチェックしてください。コンピューターを利用して高品質の画像を作成するのは楽しいですが、分野を広げて新しいスキルを学ばなければ、自分のコンテンツは陳腐化して退屈なものになってしまうと感じています。私の哲学の 1 つは、定期的に新しいことを学び、試すことが良い人生を送るために不可欠であるということです。そのため、毎週少しの時間をソフトウェアの学習に費やします。大学のメールアドレスを入力することで、Live2D Cubism の 3 年間ライセンスを 8,812 円 (約 60 ドル) で入手できたので、すでに手続きを開始しています。私がこれらの（もうすぐ）習得したスキルを活用できるようになるまでにはしばらく時間がかかると思いますが、皆さんが私と私の努力を引き続きサポートしてくれることを願っています。

2. NieR: Automata has been my favorite game of the last ten years. So, naturally, I was pumped up when I learned that they would be holding a concert with its music not too far away from me! A friend and I are planning a weekend trip to Chicago, Illinois, from February 1st to the 4th. Unfortunately, I will be away from my PC during this time frame. However, I will have content prepped for this time frame. Firstly, the monthly archive will be available to all those who pledged $5, regardless of whether they have canceled their membership (for the (I believe) two of you who have and have become free members, there are no hard feelings on my end! I understand that the economy is still in a recession, and managing your finances wisely is critical!). Secondly, I plan to have some content scheduled for the 3rd.
2.
