Big week, big progress!

I had a great week overall. I did slow down on the recording for various reasons like my voice wasn't right, my girlfriend had classes, neighbors were noisy, or I straight up didn't feel like it. But editing has been going really well!

Here's the progress as of today:

Script: 100%
Recording: 60%
Editing: 54%

Isn't that great? I edited over a third of the video in the past 8 days! Motivation is very high right now and I'm just overall feeling good about my work. In the coming week, I want to finish recording, and get to 75-80% editing done. I also need to record new music. I've been eyeing the Super Mario RPG soundtrack (in fact, I've used it before), but I need to practice some more to figure out what songs I want to play and how I want to interpret them.

I think it's time to talk release date. My original optimistic plan was October 22-23 for the release. I didn't want to share it because I've been off so often before. But honestly, it looks very plausible right now! The timeline is a little bit tight, so I might be looking at an October 29-30 release date instead. But right now, I'm aiming to finish by the 22nd.
