I'm very tired, so my apologies if this update is short.
I have a proper release date for the video now. Unless something goes wrong, it's gonna be out on Saturday, June 12th. I want to try a double premiere: first, a watch party on my Twitch channel before the video comes out, and immediately after, a premiere on YouTube. We'll see how that goes, hopefully it's the best of both worlds!
Progress has been slow but I'm very happy with the result. I'm putting a lot of effort into making this a true remaster, a complete and thorough explanation of the game mechanics behind the run. There will be a lot of new knowledge even for experienced viewers. Just today, I spent a few hours making a detailed view of the 8-2 RNG and enemy slot manipulation. I'm now at 60% of the editing done, but I'm going all in this week to get it done in time. I've dragged this project long enough, it's time to release it. Stay tuned on Discord for frequent updates on how it's coming along!
