Production update 2020-09-14
Added 2020-09-14 11:20:39 +0000 UTCHello everyone!
I hope everybody enjoyed the Credits Warp video. I must admit I was a little scared of it bombing, considering the fate of the technical OoT videos, but it's actually doing much better than I expected! In fact, this is the highest amount of views I've ever gathered in 38 hours of a video being up, with the SM64 TAS explained being very close behind:

Note that this comparison doesn't look at the two first SMB1 videos - only the 10 most recent - though I know for a fact that those grew exponentially over the course of a week.

At the time of writing this, I'm also sitting at 89,792 subscribers! I'm going to make a Q&A at 100k subscribers, and I will be posting a community post on YouTube when the milestone gets closer. I will also make a more official announcement right here on Patreon, probably during this week or the next. In the meantime, you guys should come up with questions you'd like to ask me. Just be aware that while I will try to prioritize questions from patrons, I will still look at the overall picture and try to pick the best questions of the lot, so your question might not be answered in the video. I will try to grace every question with an answer at least, even if it's not in video form.
Anyway, you might be wondering what's next now. Well! I'm glad you asked, because I'm not going to tell you.
That's right, the next project is a secret. I will keep it a secret for a while, but I will tell you these things:
- It is a LARGE undertaking that will span months and will not be a single video;
- It will be a slight departure from my usual format;
- There will be a larger period of planning, research and script writing than usual;
- There will be involvement from another beloved speedrunning/"metagaming" YouTuber;
- I will reveal the subject eventually, when I will actually be in the editing process;
- Even though the subject will be kept secret for a bit, I'll still update everyone on the progress.
Chances are that the Q&A special will happen before this comes out. Also, there is a speedrun explained that I would like to do, but I'm waiting for a goal time to be met. The project is on hold until that happens, at which point it will be fast tracked to get it out quickly after the record is set. So, that could be at any time. I'll let you guys know when it does, obviously.
I'd like to thank everyone on Patreon, old and new patrons alike. This YouTube thing is really starting to turn into something real nice, and I'm quite excited about what the future holds.
