SD: I won't be able to add too much this episode, for these were a couple of somewhat last-minute shows added after I already booked a minivan to move from Brooklyn to Seattle. Luckily Ethan could quickly transition back to bass for a bit, and the boys put on a killer three-piece show. I made it to the West Coast in three brutal days of driving a rented minivan filled to the brim with everything I owned. The lush green landscape of the Pacific Northwest was a such welcome sight after the long journey, I think I almost cried.

AK: The warehouse show! I can't remember how this got booked. Maybe the local band that was putting it on reached out to us? But it was some small warehouse down in SoDo that put on local shows. It was actually a really cool layout that included a loft so we surrounded by local fans top to bottom. The energy in there was great even though the sound probably wasn't. The people putting on the show filmed it and we had someone recording the audio so I ended up taking the raw camera footage and audio as well as our recorded audio and mixing them which took forever. I remember that Ableton file being an insane amount of EQ and compression automations. Way more work than anyone should have done for that show. But I really wanted to preserve it on youtube in a way that was at least somewhat listenable.

We also got booked to play in KEXP's new performance space. They moved to an entirely new studio around this time and had not only the new KEXP session space that you're probably familiar with on Youtube but they also had a stage performance space attached as well. I think we were one of the first bands to play in there.

Will also took a trip to WCWM. I don't know what he did there.
