Hope you guys enjoy Sugoi Toolkit V5.0 so far,

Sorry for the lack of update on the toolkit, but I have smt to make up for that very soon (more at the end of announcement)

Recently I have been working on the Japanese translation model

I tested ChatGPT with very mixed result, like a lot of sexual or violence line are not translated

Translation when it worked can be very good but mostly on par with DeepL, not that much better

Shorter lines like in manga even if appropriate are often ignored or have extra hallucinated content

I'll test out some more prompt for hopefully better result

On another note, I have tried to train a more general model for Japanese translation and the result is pretty good It scored noticeably higher than V4 model on a news dataset

At the moment, I'm negotiating with a pretty well-known language learning company for a collaboration I'm positive about the outcome, but we'll see

Lastly, I'm not making excuses for myself, on April 9th, I will release the beta for a brand new program I wanted to release it this Sunday but I felt it would be too early, so give me some time
