When a person who is as close as family admits that they are gay, it’s not that you don’t approve, it’s that sometimes you feel vulnerable because it’s like almost being lied to in the long run. Not intentionally to hurt you, but because it’s not an easy thing to do. Rejection is hard from others, but family hurts the worse. But this is a necessary hurdle to live out the rest of your life in happiness instead of always dodging the bullet you may think is bigger than it actually is...
